Our guide Bramwel was amazing, he was really knowledgeable and answered all our questions, he was really nice and friendly, he even showed us his place, he always made sure we felt comfortable and safe if we go back we would definitely would meet again, it was a really nice experience.

We had an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and had personal connections to the people which allowed us to see into their own lives. Our guide explained each building and what it meant to them as well as cultural norms. Throughout the tour he explained the circumstances or the majority of people living there and reasons that they contributed to live there (things like lack of jobs in the area and little access to sanitary conditions). Definitely a unique experience I would encourage everyone to take part in. •Friendly and informative guide •Interactions with local people

100% recommended. Bramwell was truly the perfect guide. The logistic was also truly impecable. We booked for the same day and had great communication with Fredrick to arrange our meeting point. It’s a very inspirational experience that really puts things in perspective. We met and spoke to some people, visited some houses (this is optional), and ate some street food. We felt very safe and welcome 100% of the one.

Very authentic and impressive tour done by locals

We did the tour with Bramwel and it was really amazing. Bramwel grew up in Kibera and although he now was able to move out of the deep slum he still lives close by and plays for the Kibera football team. He knows a lot of people in Kibera and we always felt save walking with him. Bramwel showed us where he grew up and we were also able to enter a house of a friend of his to really see how people are living in Kibera. We really enjoyed the tour with Bramwel because of his relaxed and down to earth attitude. He just showed us very authentically the life in Kibera and also talked a lot about different NGO projects that tried to improve the situation in the neighborhood, some successful, some unsuccessful because of the corruption. I highly recommend this authentic tour that just very impressively shows the hard life in Kibera

Frederick is a great guide, super friendly and the experience in Kibera is very personal since it is not a fun place to see but to open your eyes as how grateful we need to be. You need to experience to really proif that this people can live under this confitions. This is an eye opening tour, and Frederick gives back to the community helping kids go to school.

I went and waited for more than one hour and half. I tried calling them but they didn’t receive it. After more than one hour they messaged me that that are closed and I was waiting for them. They didn’t even apologize. Terrible experience. I don’t recommend it to any one. If you want to waste your time, then you can go ahead. Otherwise i don’t believe in them. They didn’t even apologize and directly told me to cancel it after waiting for so long. It’s a scam. Please don’t fall for it. I don’t care about the money about the importance of time.
