At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Transport is wheelchair accessible; however, be prepared for uneven surfaces at the sites visited which may be difficult for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
During the low season from November to to March, the live guide inside Pompeii will be replaced by an official interactive audioguide for groups of less than six.
The itinerary may vary from day to day depending on the opening of certain offices, depending on attendance. One building per category is guaranteed to be visited-1 Temple, 1 Market, 1 Shop, 1 Villa, 1 Thermal Plant, 1 Theater, and the Forum. The choice of buildings visited is determined from time to time by the guide based on attendance, waiting times in case of long lines, or opening hours of the buildings. - The tour includes a visit to a Cameo factory, the Cameo is a typical Roman-era jewel found during excavations at Herculaneum and Pompeii in 1748. In the factory you will be able to see a craftsman at work, the cameo is a piece of jewelry made from congeals and precious stones and is hand engraved by the craftsman. A visit to the factory will allow you to use the toilets free of charge before entering the excavations, so the stop at the Cameo Factory in addition to being informative is essential in terms of managing your visit to the Pompeii excavations.
The tour is confirmed in the chosen language if the group reaches 6 participants; if the group does not reach 6 participants, the guide will be replaced by an audioguide in the chosen language or your choice in an English-language guide.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Our tour guide Allessandro was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to do the tour with. The got us there when the site opened, which I would recommend, it gets very crowded.

They arrived at the collection point early and, as all were there, we headed off. A clean, comfortable vehicle where we were given water. On arrival to Pompeii, we went to a gift shop where there was a toilet. We then met our guide and did the tour which was informative and interesting. We then had time at the end of the tour for a drink before heading back to Naples.

Amazing place! Time got cut short!

Pompeii was an amazing place. Unfortunately, we spent an hour picking up people so our time got cut short. Tour states 4 hours but we only spent 2 hours inside Pompeii and missed a couple of major sites. Tour operator refused to extend time at site and refused to offer partial credit.

Dear client, the tour duration (4 hours) includes the transportation times as well with a 2 hours visit of the ruins, therefore the tour went as scheduled and that is why you weren't provided with the refund. If you lost some more time during the pickup phase, I am sorry for that, but please understand that we try to wait as much as we can for our clients, when possible, as we understand that missing a tour is a sad experience for everybody. What an amazing excursion. Pick up was easy and professional. The guide was unbelievably knowledgeable. It rained heavy but it was still one of the most amazing things I have ever done.

This trip was amazing! Our guides spoke multiple languages and could accommodate everyone in the group. It was a bigger tour than I expected and had lots of great information. They even made arrangements for pickups in multiple locations for our group. I would definitely recommend this to others!

Pickup was late, group was larger than advertised, guide was not good. She walked too far ahead, extremely poor English made her impossible to understand, no interaction with group members, no time for questions. Then we had 30 minutes to wait for our bus, but they forced us to exit rather than explore more. Too bad a great site was not maximized.

Our guide in Pompeii Anna was wonderful, the tour was well-organized and very interesting. The bus guide was great but the pickup could have been better, there was some confusion on where to meet. We also had to go pick up a few people from a hotel. Once we got to Pompeii everything went smoothly. Great option to see Pompeii for the Naples shore excursion.

We were picked up at the port which was a little manic with all the people there with their name cards and it was an 8am start but we got on the coach and we were on our way however we did have some hotel pick ups too. The mini bus was full and the member of staff who came with us didn't have a seat which I didn't think was great planning or very safe. It mentioned on board commentary but there was none of that. I knew that we had to pay for entrance in but I didn't realise we had to pay the money on the bus - I had planned to pay by card -- luckily I had cash. When we got there she took us into a cameo jewellery shop and had to listen to a presentation and then we could use their toilet facilities. We then thought we were going on the tour but found that two people had not yet arrived as they had got off at the wrong train station so we had to wait! After 10 minutes she said she was waiting no longer and took us to our guide. Our guide was lovely and informative. I didn't realise how vast Pompeii is and we obviously couldn't see it all in the two hours allotted with the guide. We had about 20 mins in the square where we could explore ourselves but the rest was with the guide. Pompeii was amazing and extremely interesting but very very busy with lots of tours and guides so sometimes it was difficult to hear what was being said but we were lucky as our group was quite small - some groups were huge. I would have liked maybe to have made my own way there so when our tour was finished we could have had some time to explore on our own. Only some of us returned on the coach and others went on to another trip. Coming back the port was the first drop off so it didn't take long at all. They said they provided water but we weren't given any although we were given a free cap.
