Gabrielle was a great guide through the city area top to bottom. We covered more ground in a unique way than any other transportation mode. Fun Ride!

Safety first!

Unfortunately this one fell short. The audio is recorded and our guide didn’t even show the group how to us the bikes. Then he lead us through a crowded path and someone fell. Our tour guy was a bit younger so you could tell he really didn’t care until one of us just asked him to bring us back. Then he realized he didn’t take care of his clients. I was disappointed that the safety of Group was not of importance. I’m sure this tour has been great for others but we just didn’t get the right person for our guild.

So fun! Once we got over our fear of Naples traffic and crazy drivers, which happened quickly, we had a blast Great way to see the highlights of Naples and get in a little exercise (though the bikes really do all the work)

It takes people! Vins and Gabri were great and we have the best tour of Napoli on a hot day in spots difficult to reach otherwise. Well thought! The bikes are excellent and although you will climb 300m steep hills you won't feel it. Excellent! 🙂

Super cruise excursion!

Best cruise excursion of our trip! We were on a 9 day cruise stopping at 8 ports. We decided to go on this e-bike tour and it was fantastic. This tour was fun for our 18 and 20 year-olds. They picked us up right at the cruise port and communicated well via Whatsapp. Biking around the streets of Naples was somewhat nerve wracking, but certainly added to the experience. Strongly recommended for the adventurous!

Fun way to cruise the city

This was a great way to see many parts of the city that you might not get to on foot. The electric bikes make a 3 hr your easy. You are navigating through a lot of traffic so best to be a confident biker. The guides were friendly though didn't personally provide much history, there was a clunky audio guide they use for that.

Napoli e-bike tour gone bad!!

The e-bike was very difficult to handle for a first time rider. Unfortunately due to this difficulty and learning more about riding a bike on the streets of Naples, this excursion was way to dangerous. The tour operator gave us a hard time for any possible refund which will be unlikely. I hope they reconsider. Viator gave us a very hard time as well and not very understanding that a persons safely is more important. This may lead me to not use this service again.

Though, your problem is not connected to our vehicles but to your wife inability to ride a bicyle. We understand she was stressed, though she is unable to ride a bike at all, we wonder why you have reserved a bike tour. We hired our tour leaders, driver and employee on a bank holiday, that's why your request to be refunded was unacceptable. We refund 100% when cancellation is at least 12 hrs before the tour. Your review is useless, we suggest you to book - next time - a bus or a walking tour. I wish you a nice day.

Napoli by Bike is a strike!

Gabrielle has a great energy and was very knowledgeable about all things Napoli and Neapolitan. Have a done similar in other cities and definitely recommend this as way to get to see all the delights of Napoli! View on bay were amazing and the bike was way more fun than bus ride or other ways to see.

Around Naples in the sunshine

Had a great time around Naples and up some very steep hills. The hills were no problem as the bike worked really well and took a lot of the strain. The traffic in Naples is bonkers but Vincenzo made sure everybody was safe. Once out of the city centre the views over the bays were stunning. Vencenzo was brilliant, very freindly, knowlegable and passionate about Naples and his bikes. I would highly recommend this activity to anybody of reasonable fitness.

Naples is not a city equipped for novice cyclists or those without city cycling experience

Naples is a vibrant crowded city with cobbled streets and pedestrian areas - all wonderful to explore on foot but not so much on a powerful E Bike. Our tour guide Fernando was charming and very attentive, However with 10 guests riding bikes on average 2 meters long with a gap between cyclists of 1 meter the single file line stretched over 30 meters which makes it impossible for a single guide to ensure the safety of the group on busy roads and public thoroughfares. Also we had a child in the group between 9-11 years old. We wove between traffic, pedestrians and navigated busy roundabouts and whilst we lived for 20 years in New York City and rode bikes to work every day even we found the experience unnerving. I spent the whole time worrying about the little girls safety and had to help one woman who fell from her bike into the road. The route chosen is not suitable for tourists, and certainly not children, Also the Fat bikes have a powerful thrust in the higher settings which make it difficult to control for those unprepared. Also the snippets played from the generic audio guide and personal anecdotes are not really 21st century quality. I wrote to the tour operator and expressed my concerns immediately after the tour and was told I would be contacted by the manager within 48 hours to discuss my thoughts - unfortunately that did not happen which compelled me to write this review as to me safety should be the number 1. priority on a tour like this - And it is certainly not suitable for children under 16 years old. I’ve had many Viator experiences in the past and must say this was our least favorite.

A really memorable way to experience the city of Naples. The e-bikes enabled us to cover lots of ground and made climbing the steep hills a breeze. We were rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the city's coastline and Mt Vesuvius. Ferdinando gave us a good insight into the life, culture and history of Naples. Highly recommended and lots of fun.

There are better, more informative and safer ways to see Naples. I've done many bike tours while traveling, and this was probably my least favorite. Still, it always depends on the guide you have * Pros: good bikes, nice panoramic views * Cons: no real Naples guide but relied on audio guide - and that recording was minimally informative, the bike guide did not help participants navigate the crazy traffic, just biked ahead and let everyone else fend for themselves. Thank god i did not have my kids with me on this tour!

This tour made our days in Naples worth it! To start, customer service was impeccable. Cars weren’t allowed to drive where our hotel was SO Vincenzo rode a bike to personally meet us just outside our hotel and then offered to with pay for a taxi for us or we could walk to the bike shop. We opted to walk and he literally handed me his phone so we could have directions and we met up there. He then greeted us with drinks and snacks and showed us how to use the bike. From there Gabriella became our guide. (Ps no one else was in our group so it was like a private tour for my husband and I). She took us to stops in the inner city. Then up very steep hills (but the bike does almost all the work so it feels like pedaling on flat land or even downhill) to amazing panoramic views of water and mount Vesuvius. Then to a park with more but different amazing views. Then down on the shore by the castles. At each stop we could listen to a recording about it, but also take pictures, etc. Seriously we were in Naples for 2 days and wouldn’t have known 3/4 of it existed if it wasn’t for this tour. Plus it was a super fun way to see it too. Definitely recommend!!

A ride you will not forget!

Vinz was great, picked us up on time., and was very friendly and kind. At the end of the tour, he even drove the 7 of us to the train station because we were tired after a long day. Didn't even want to accept a tip. The tour was amazing, scary at first as we rode through Naples city. We saw all of Naples from top to bottom, Nicola our guide is great, he made sure we didn't miss anything. Great views with stops along the way.

Fantastic ebike tours

Amazing experience with family run business. The ebikes were nearly new and the path is fantastic, bring your wearable GoPro! We were concerned with safety with cars; however, the route primarily had dedicated bike trails. Best way to see Naples, as an added bonus, they gave us some good tips on incredible Naples pizza and restaurants.
