What beauty

We had a great driver who persevered with horrendous traffic, saw beautiful Amalfi Coast. Vehicle was very clean and comfortable. Franceso the driver helped us take photos in the best positions.

Wonderful tour but missing a Pompeii Guide

Wonderful tour! Only critique is for Pompeii they just drop you off with tickets. This trip would have been perfect if Pompeii had a guide. You are given a Italian map and it’s really hard to navigate what you should see in an hour and a half.

10/10 recommend to see multiple cities in a day

Highly recommend! It was a very nice tour. The pickup was very easy and efficient. Driver was waiting for the small group at the designated pickup spot. We immediately headed to Sorrento with some photo stops. After some free time in Sorrento, we drove over to the Amalfi coast with a couple of photo of stops. We then headed to Pompeii. After sometime in Pompeii, it was a quick trip back to the port. We were able to see a lot in five or six hours. We were dropped off at the cruise port. The driver was very friendly and helpful with knowing where to get the best photos.

All in all, a nice tour with a pleasant guide although he spoke little English. Our guide, Giovanni, tried hard but used Google translate a lot. Everything was professional and timely.

Giovanni was a FABULOUS guide. He was so knowledgeable about the Amalfi coast and took us to some of the most spectacular sites along the way. We highly recommend this tour and especially Giovanni!

I basically paid for a taxi ride. The driver spoke minimal English. He even asked us where we would like to go. Well, we don't know! That's why I hired a guide. Then I thought this was a private tour. However, another family was in the same van. Their son threw up everywhere. It was such a terrible experience. Never again...

However we'd like to clarify some aspects about the tour and booking 1) you booked a driving tour with no guidance included, in italy driver and licensed guide are 2 separates professionals, driver is not allowed to guide, only professional guides can do, which is not included in this option. so no guide was hired. - We are sorry you misunderstood the tour was notprivate. this option is a shared excursion (clearly described in the tour page) in a very small group up to 8 people in the van. - about the kid throwing up everywhere we're really sorry but unfortunately cannot control car sick and we're really sorry about the kid did not feel well, I hope you can be sympathetic with that. We hope to see you again in another one of our tours

Unable to find - waste of money!!!

We were to meet at the port at 8am for an 830 departure. There was a horrific storm when we went to the apparent meeting spot (bad enough that many ship excursions cancelled) and we couldn’t find our tour. There were clumps of people in the small bits of shelter, and I can only imagine that’s where our guide was. After getting completely soaked and terrified in the very dangerous lightning, we returned to shelter to message the operator. We didn’t hear anything. Fearing for our safety and ultimately also our comfort, we sadly returned to the ship as we could not find the operator. We did get messaged by them that they were waiting for us, and this is where it got a little weird. We chose at that point to not go, as our shoes and clothes were completely soaked through, and the idea of exploring ancient ruins in a horrible storm seemed both miserable and unsafe. We were honestly surprised they didn’t cancel. They ended up calling me TWELVE times (all calls I couldn’t answer on a cruise ship without astronomical fees) and the emails from the tour office were downright rude and assaulting. She accused me of lying when I said I couldn’t find the guide, and then sent me a photo at 9am of the guide standing in a completely rain free area with a sign with just my name on it, claiming that he had been there the whole time - mind you from 730-845 it was torrential downpour. I told them at 815 we would not be going, and they held the tour for the other guests as well. Not only did they waste 250$ of my money, they took an hour of time from the other patrons even when we said we were not going and harassed me with many emails, as I was already emotional in my cabin about missing the day. 1 star for effort I guess. I would not book this company again.

Dear Sarah, we are very sorry to read this review we are very sorry for what happened, but unfortunately it was not our fault. You have booked a shared tour with other people, not private, with a specific departure. We always email all the necessary and specific information to meet our driver / guide and the specific meeting point at the time of booking. In fact, despite it being a rainy day, in which the tour took place regularly anyway, all the other participants were punctual and precise at the meeting point and delighted with the service, demonstrated by the reviews. The only person missing was you. if it had been a "horrifc storm" the cruise ship would not have been authorized to dock for safety reasons. To avoid missing the tour we tried to call you many times to find out where you were, to help you get to the exact point, we sent several messages, we waited almost half an hour after the meeting time (while the other participants, unfairly , were waiting for your coming, starting to get impatient). It is not our fault that the telephone rates are high, we are not responsible for them. they are for us too. It was the fastest way to help you. Nobody was rude to you, in fact, we were just trying to help you. Your answer came after more than half an hour from the departure time, when by now, as we had not received any answer, we could not wait for you further, it was very disrespectful towards the other participants, who regularly showed up despite the rain, the rain did not stop them from finding the exact spot and our guide. We are sorry that you think this way, and that she was frustrated and unhappy because you missed the tour due to the delay and not responding, we had all the good intentions to help you even by delaying the tour, but having received no response. after more than half an hour it was no longer possible to wait, as it was not a tour dedicated only to you. I hope you can understand the situation and that we have only tried in every way to help you and we are not to blame if you could not answer the phone and emails. Obviously having had to pay the driver and guide for your seats that day, as you did not show up for the appointment and we had expenses it was not possible to make an exception and refund you.

We had a professional driver. He did gave us a coast trip with beautiful vieuws and villages. The guide in Pompeii was s very good explaner and learned us mutch about the history of Pompeii.

A Cultural Excursion

We had a quite unique experience learning about the ancient city of Pompeii and appreciating the beauty of the Amalfi coast with Francesco, our driver and guide who was accompanied by Simone, photographer sent by the local travel agency. Francesco was very pleasant and knowledgeable and he promised to send us photos of us taken by the photographer. We are still looking forward to seeing the photos by Simone!

Our day trip with Fulvio as our host was amazing! There were so many highlights and places to see and Fulvio was the PERFECT person to share with us. He is very friendly and welcoming and knows the best locations for beautiful photo opportunities. We booked six excursions during our Italy tour and had great experience with them all, but Fulvio went above beyond to make our experience fantastico! Should we ever have the chance to return to Naples area, we hope to cross paths with him again so he can share more of the country he obviously loves.

This was my son's and I first excursion when we reached Italy on our cruise ship. We were a little nervous being just the 2 of us but upon meeting Francesco all of our unease was put to rest. It was to be a semi-private tour but ended up being just the 2 of us which just great! Francesco was absolutely wonderful! He gave us a lot of history and information as we drove. We started our tour with driving along the Amalfi Coast, stopping at Sorrento and Positano singing along as we drove. Our last and longest stop was Pompeii, where Francesco is from, where we enjoyed a lovely lunch and THE best pizza I've we've ever had! Francesco was extremely informative and accommodating with our Pompeii visit which we enjoyed immensely. I can't recommend him enough and after many other tours that week my son and I still agree that this was our favorite!!! We can't thank him enough for our wonderful day! Absolutely PERFECTO!!! ♥️

Above and beyond expectations of Excursion

The skip the line excursion to Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii was the highlight of our cruise. Since other tourist cancelled this was really a private excursion for my daughter and I. Every aspect of the day was perfect. Our guide was very knowledgeable and full of good advice on special places to see. The coastal drive was beautiful and Sorrento was my favorite town. It is great to be able to book with a company that delivers what they advertise. Sadly this was not our experience in Rome.

Naples cruise destination- We were picked up at the meeting point at the port as instructed and waited for the other group to disembark from their boat. Not the same boat as ours. Right away, we noticed that our tour guide did not speak any English but thought ok maybe there will be someone else to meet us.( there wasn't) Once we were all in the van on our way to Sorrento. (which was about an hour drive). We noticed that there was silence from the driver. ( I cant remember his name). He did not point out a single site, did not tell us where were going. Not a peep. As we arrived in Sorrento- he said we had 1 hour to walk around and then off to Pompei. Both us and the other family were puzzled given the title of this excursion - POSITANO. He said no Positano.. just look at view. He contacted the tour company who called us immediately. He was very nice and explained that the tour only covers a view of Positano and nothing more. Read the description- Positano is listed as a destination. After a few phone calls they agreed to take us to Positano for 1/2 hour (not enough time but happy we got there). And then off to an average lunch and then to Pompei where they gave us 2 hours.. plenty of time. Very interesting. once we were done, He drove us back to the boat. It would have been nice to have a driver give us a little information on the area. tell us where we were going. Not a word from the driver was spoken the entire day. I would have loved to spend a little more time in Sorrento and Positano. All in all, it turned out to be a beautiful day on the Amalfi Coast. Definitely going back. Highly recommend these destinations.. not sure about this particular excursion.

This tour was absolutely stunning the views of positano and the amalfi coast were breathtaking and gorgeous!! Our driver Francesco picked us up to start our day! Francesco was super courteous, professional, and overall a pleasure to be with! He shared with us some Italian music as we drove through these beautiful sites. He guided us around with ease and explained all the highlights we needed to know! He started with time in Sorrento to shop! How amazing the shoping was! And then continued to drive the amalfi coast towards positano! He then drove us to the restaurant where we had our lunch included!!! Lunch was over the top amazing! Best pizza we have ever had! Then we headed to the ruins at Pompeii and got a chance to explore around! This tour was amazing from start to finish! Shout out to Francesco for making this a tour one to remember!! Grazie from the D'Amato family!

Wonderful tour with Francesco, He was very personable he is from Pompeii and knows all the ins and outs which were very helpfull. There was 6 people in our party and we were the only ones on the tour. We had an amazing time and loved every moment of it. The views were breathtaking. Love it.!!!!

Loved the Excursion but would have liked more than a driver

Our driver did not give us much information about any of the places we visited. Fortunately the places themselves were wonderful. We had a Viator excursion the day before to Cannes that set the bar and we expected the same with this tour.
