What To Expect

Dig into the multi-cultural history of New Orleans, which stretches from Spanish, French, and West African influences through pre-Civil War antebellum plantations and the residual impacts of natural disasters. The diverse blend is complex, and – as you'll find out on this food tour – it's delicious.

Begin in Jackson Square and walk a roughly 2-mile route through the French Quarter with your guide, stopping at about 15 points of interest along the way. Hear about the district's unique architecture and history, including the stylistic influences behind different buildings as you pass them.

Stop at 2-3 bars and restaurants during the tour, at which you'll be able to sample appetizers and drinks to taste New Orleans' history come to life. Food and drink is not included in the cost of the tour, though you are welcome to purchase both at each stop.

End the tour near Jackson Square with a great deal of useful knowledge of the French Quarter's architecture, history, and cuisine.

Chocked Full Adventure

Dominic is sharp! By the time Dominic describes it, you want to try it. And good New Orleans food is SO good! Every question we had about New Orleans or about culture, he could answered. And he was a super fun guy. He even took us to a Saint Joseph’s Day parade afterwards. The afternoon was the most fun we ever had in New Orleans, except that time we went dancing on Frenchmen Street!
