Bus driver Sanford, great driver and bus tour guide on the trip to and from the swamp tour. Capt. Steve, couldn’t have asked for a better swamp boat captain, story teller, experience, knowledge and local person to the area.

Great
Xenia_B, Apr 2024
The bus ride. The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Swamp guide was also great! Definitely check them out. A great experience.
Tour is great.
Dave_G, Apr 2024
Our tour guide Will was great! And our bus driver Sanford was also informative and friendly. Our only complaint is we drove our rv all the way into downtown New Orleans to be driven all the way back to near where we were camping. Had we been informed we could have driven direct to swamp parking area and saved 3 hours drive time and city hassle.
Wonderful boat tour!
Zixiu_C, Apr 2024
Four friends traveled together at New Orlean, the boat tour is the best experience I had in this city, there are alligators and raccons. We have a good time here and I recommand other friends to go here.
Great experience

Captain Brian did an excellent job showing us wild pigs, racoons, multiple alligators, snakes and birds.
A Must Do!

Our bus driver Duane was very engaging and charismatic. He gave us an interesting history lesson on the way to the boat. Our boat captain Steve was singularly focused on giving us a spectacular trip, as well as, conveying his love for the water and the area. Great trip highly recommend!
Beautiful day!

Everything was so well organized, and Captain Patrick was a joy. Thank you so much for making this tour and sharing the beauty of Louisiana. We saw so many wild life as well.
Lots of fun

Captain Pat was really great. I have gone on swamp tours with other companies and those weren't as much fun as this one was. We saw lots of gators and raccoons. We will definitely be back.

Tour Isn't As Advertised
Viki_M, Apr 2024
We took the swamp boat tour because: 1) the tour was supposed to include a knowledgeable guide who would narrate the ride with discussion about the animals living in the swamp, and educate us about the area itself. HOWEVER, we received only a cursory explanation of a few points of interest during our entire time on the water. Learned next to nothing. 2) the company featrures a picture of a boat deep in the swamp, with trees overhead. HOWEVER, the tour consisted of traveling quickly on what looked like an ordinary river with trees on either side. Nothing special and also disappointing. 3) the tour info indicated that we would see a remote, authentic Creole 'village'. HOWEVER, the remote village turned out to be just three or four houses on the river, at the point where one begins the tour -- each belonging to family of the boat operator.

A brilliant trip to do
James_M, Apr 2024
The bus journey to the boat and back was very comfortable and Dwayne, the driver was amazing, he was funny, professional and good driver. The boat trip was excellent Capt. Jonah was knowledgeable, and made the 2 hour trip really fun and interesting. We saw so much and learned a lot. I would highly recommend this activity for all ages. Very safe
A great captain and teacher
PDouglas_B, Apr 2024
Captain made our tour fun and educational. He appeared to be very well informed on every aspect of the swamps and marshes. His background as a fresh and salt water fisherman made him uniquely well qualified on the social history of the area and he was equally well-informed on the ecology of swamps and marshes.
Book direct not on Viator.
K_R, Apr 2024
The swamp tour is great. However, I booked on Viator because the tour had one pickup location that was near the hotel. I did not want to drive around picking people up at a lot of locations. I specifically chose this tour for that reason, even though it was more expensive than the the company website. Instead we made multiple stops because that is what they do when you buy on the company site and it is cheaper!. Buy on the web site.
Best swamp tour ever
Lonettia_R, Apr 2024

Best ecofriendly tour ever!
Sandra_C, Apr 2024
Excellent tour with a lot of history and great information. Thank you to Michelle for our safe trip to and from the swamp and thank you to Captain Steve for the education presented throughout the boat tour. We were able to see a lot of wildlife. Thank you to Cajun Tours for being ecofriendly and providing safe and nutritional snacks to these beautiful animals. Please don't hesitate to reach out them for the tour if you want the best for their wild life. Thank you again!
Fun experience
Christopher_O, Apr 2024
Captain Barry was very informative and knowledgeable of the landscape and ecosystem which made for a very enjoyable ride. He gave us ample time and angles to take pictures of the wildlife.
Bucket list!
Justin_G, Apr 2024
Great tour guide. Neil knows his swamps, sounds like grew up on the water. Went out of his way to help us see wildlife.
Great time on the water
Amber_B, Apr 2024
We had a great time! There's a bit of a wait to get checked in and to leave that could have easily been coordinated differently to reduce time waiting, but the actual tour was great! Capt. Sonny has a great sense of humor, keen eye for nature and made sure we all had fun!
