While Prohibition made alcohol illegal in 1920s New York, the city still retained an illicit bar scene. A nice tour, with interesting pubs. It was a bit expensive for what it offered. The historical information was not bad, but it felt as there was not much of a thread connecting all. At several point, the tour felt like "slow"

Ryan did a great job of leading us on a convivial tour of three wonderful speakeasy-type bars! This tour involves less walking and perhaps a bit less history than some others, but a wonderful opportunity to chat and get to know other travelers over a delicious cocktail. One of the bars had live music (on a Saturday) which was great.

Adriana was very enthusiastic, informative, knowledgeable & you can tell she’s passionate about the prohibition history of the city! I highly recommend to anyone whether it’s their first time in the city (was my boyfriend’s) or their 3rd time (myself). You’ll find out new information, you hadn’t previously known! Plus, the 3 speakeasy’s are time warps & unique places one wouldn’t find by themselves.
