Great first time experience

After a much needed vacation we decided to visit the zoo. The most memorable experience was my daughter’s expression hearing the Lion roar and seeing the Giraffes.

There were no gorillas because of the weather (high was 54) and a lot of the other animals were missing too. I might as well have gone to the queens zoo. The health and comfort of the animals is important but i wish for $40 a ticket they would have explained that on the website or reduced the ticket price. A lot of the pathways were closed off and they had whole areas closed off. Also, I don’t understand why they make you show your ticket at the entrance of a lot of the exhibits once you’re in the park. It’s not the end of the world but inconvenient when you’re juggling kids and strollers. The bathrooms were also very dirty and only had hand dryers (no paper towels) which my young kids are afraid of. This isn’t the bronx zoo experience I remember as a kid

Great Viator Experience. Ok Zoo

The Viator experience was perfect. To be honest I was a bit disappointed in the Bronx Zoo. Considering it is like the fourth largest in the world and I think one of the top two in the US, we left rather unimpressed. Part of it was also the time of year. The animals were hard to see. There so many more animals could comfortably fit in the zoo with all the space available. Although - good for the animals that were not there - hopefully enjoying their freedom in the wild where they belong. The price was right on this package. I much preferred the Central Park Zoo.

NEVER USING VIATOR AGAIN. Worst app ever. Had to buy tickets at the front

Was not able to use the ticket i bought through VIATOR. Was a complete scam. Could not use the tickets i got through Viator. No email sent to my email with the tickets. The app and website is ABSOLUTELY NOT user friendly. Could not use the tickets had to buy others. 0/10 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Due to the bad weather, I was trying to exchange the tickets for the next day but the systems won't let me change the date kr do refund. So because of that I lost my money and never went in the zoo.

A Frustrating Experience

Everything was going well until we encountered the person who checks tickets at the entrance of the Congo. Throughout the experience, we felt like we were doing something wrong, constantly being asked for tickets as if we hadn't paid the entrance fee. I don't understand the intensity. Also, everything had to be done online, and we depended on our phone batteries. So, with low battery, we couldn't even take photos because we had to conserve battery to show the zoo staff our tickets constantly. But this person at the Congo, around 3:30 PM on Saturday, September 9th, was so rude that the four of us felt really uncomfortable, as if we were delinquents who hadn't paid for entry. With just 1% battery left on my phone, they demanded I turn the brightness to the maximum and asked for tickets from all my friends as if we hadn't paid. It was a very bad experience. Additionally, a surprise storm hit that lasted almost the whole day, and I thought they might offer us a discount to come back another day or something, but instead, it was just more complications. There's also no order when it comes to buying drinks with employees who organize the lines. This place is a disaster.

The gorillas were amazing to watch and we loved the brown bears. The seal show was neat to watch. All the animals are unique in their own way.

You couldn’t find the animals it was so hard if you did they were hiding you couldn't see them worst experience, i spent 100 with tickets and parking which sucks cause parking should be included with the tickets just ripping people off

Great for families. You must stay from open to close if you want to do/see everything. Very hot in summer. Should have misting stations around park. But overall animal lovers will love it.
