A little different than expected, but still worth it!

Our guide Mohammed was great! Very nice, and knowledgeable. This just wasn’t what I expected. The carriage ride has to take a specific path so you don’t get to see all the iconic spots up close and personal like the carousel, the ice rink, or the boat house on the ride but you can afterwards. Our guide however was awesome- took us to iconic spots and took pictures of lots of great spots of us. He also pointed out all kinds of iconic spots just outside the park that we didn’t realize were there. Overall it was fun and we enjoyed it, I just thought we would see things up close a little more from the booking description but some are just a pass by view instead.

I highly recommend this event. The ride started a few minutes, ~10mins, late however we were notified in plenty of time and it didn’t cause any challenges. Our driver, Oozy and horse Michelle were phenomenal. Oozy was very knowledgeable of the park and shared a lot of information that we were not aware of. Michelle, the horse was gentle and enjoyed the carrots that we hand feed her. This carriage ride has been something that I have wanted to do for years …and was everything that I had imagined. It was a little cold however the blanket over our laps provided that added comfort that we needed.

Niko was a wonderful host and Jack was a sweet and beautiful horse. Enjoyed every second. The stop by the fountain and under tunnel was so pretty. Learned lots of things. It was peaceful and lovely. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I had the loveliest time on our carriage ride with Muhammed. We found him easily upon arriving. He made sure we were cozy during our ride, providing a blanket. And he made sure to point out all of the special sites along the way. He also did a great job taking photos of us together at some special spots. It was such a great time!!

A Perfect Afternoon

This was fantastic. The perfect way to spend an afternoon in Central Park. We were blessed to have Nico and his “business partner” Victor as our escorts. We were given directions and confirmation via text messages and Nico was waiting for us exactly where he said he would be. The weather was perfect but there was a blanket available if we got cold. We clipped clopped around Central Park and Nico would stop and point out places of interest. He stopped on a couple of occasions to allow us to have a walk around (a replica of the Friends fountain, the Dakota building and the Imagine memorial to John Lennon in Strawberry Fields) and he was happy to oblige and take as many photographs as we liked. It was just perfect. Thank you Nico and Victor for helping us create a very special memory.

Really enjoyed the tour through Central Park. The only problem we had was, we could not find parking so we were 15 minutes late and our driver rushed through our carriage ride. Not his fault he had another scheduled ride after ours.

Bad communication

I bought this weeks in advance. An hour before the ride he texted with different location to meet. Fine. We got a Lyft and were 20 minutes away from meeting time. He calls wanting to change location. We tell him we can't do that as we have already committed to location for Lyft. We get to meeting point and realize there is no way to access it because of the parade. I call him. He says he'll have to call me back. He then talks with the police, who tell him 7th Avenue is completely inaccessible due to parade. It is now 15 minutes past our start time for the ride. He wants us to now go to 59th and 5th Avenue. I tell him with the crowds and our limited knowledge of where we are, there's no way. We were on a tight timeline to do this ride and get back to our hotel. Given that we are now 20 minutes past ride time and have yet to meet him, there was no way. I expressed my frustration. He said I was wasting his time and hung up on me. Now, after spending $45 on a Lyft to get there and no ride, we are left to get out of the area and find a cab for the ride back. Wasted $100 on cab rides and our whole morning. Driver calls me back 20 minutes later saying he was joking before. Where are we at? I told him I expected a refund. We did not understand how close the meeting point was to the parade route. He should have known where he could and could not meet us. Instead, he waited until an hour before the ride and tried to change the location 4 times. It was very disappointing as we had been excited about the carriage ride. I will say that they did give us a refund without me having to go to my cc company and dispute the charge which I had said I would. I'm guessing without the parade, everything may have gone smoothly. I just thought in this case the communication was awful.

This review as described events do not match real facts. Due to the Thanksgiving parade, the arranged pick up location was unexpectedly blocked by the police. We were trying to arrange an alternative pick up spot with the customer over the phone. However, the customer wasn’t cooperative and refused to arrive to the new pick up location. The tour was fully refunded.
