Phillip was a great guide. His work experience on Wall Street added a unique perspective to the tour. Might have wanted a bit more history of how it all started rather than how the markets work. However the group seemed engaged so that could have been me. Overall well worth it.

Richard is the best tour guide I’ve ever had! He’s super passionate and knowledgeable and an actual insider. We had the best time and he made sure everyone took photos and answered everyone’s questions. It’s a great overview of the financial district and focuses more on the modern history including 9/11 which was super interesting.

I’ve worked in Manhattan for 15 years but never knew the history or details of the financial district. I took my 21-year old son who is curious about finance on this tour and we both absolutely loved it. Our guide Richard was full of historical details and context about the district’s history and current workings, from the origins of the top consulting firms to the founders of today’s top investment banks. Ok listen, if you‘re visiting New York and you’re remotely interested in getting to know Wall Street and the Financial District then you should absolutely not miss Richard’s tour! I went on many sightseeing tours in my life, but let me tell you that this tour is one of a kind. Not only does Richard provide deeper insights into the financial system sprinkled with some nice to know fun facts on top, but he is also one of the nicest, most charismatic guides I have ever met with a deep understanding about the topics and actual experience (since he used to work in this sector for many years). My friend and me really learned a lot and had loads of fun talking to Richard during our 2+ hour tour. I can only recommend this tour to anyone coming to visit the Wall Street and I‘m sure I will be doing it again during my next visit of New York. Thanks a lot Richard, it was a blast!

Don't be fooled by the small number of reviews you see on this. As I understand it, our tour guide, Richard, has only been doing this for a short time. But trust me, he's incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and can can show you a great time. You'll even want to invite him to lunch afterward, just to continue the conversation. This isn't a job to him; it's a passion. While at first, I was a bit nervous about this tour because it did not list as many itinerary stops as some of the other Wall Street tours, you will hit them all, and some. He will touch on many of the current financial district buildings, tenants, and the impacts of 9/11 on the area, all while tossing in his personal experiences in the industry. He is very organized, dresses professionally, and has nice large picture boards. Don't miss out. Pick this one with Richard!
