Gorgeous museum and unforgettable collections of art. Our guide Ivan was wonderful, humorous and very knowledgeable. I loved the works he selected to show us and his discussions of them. I Wouldn’t hesitate to do this again and would recommend to anyone who wants to experience this lovely place but is on limited time. However, The museum was exceedingly crowded this day, which put somewhat of a damper on our experience.

The Guide Left Without Us.

The guide left before we got there, even though he knew we were scheduled to be there at 10:02, because we received a call at 9:54 and we told them we would arrive in 8 minutes for the 10 a. m. Tour. I actually arrived at 10:01 and he was no where to be seen, so he must have entered early, leaving us behind. We were unable to use the tickets we had paid for to enter, and therefore we would request a full refund.

Disappointed in the tour. Guide was very disorganized at the beginning. Tour didn't actually start until 2:25 instead of 2:00 as advertised. As a result, we had to leave early because we had to catch a bus back to our ship. She spent too much time on each exhibit she selected. Not Viators normal experience.

Avoid this Company!!!

Avoid this tour company (French Memories). Stranded 3 members of 1 tour because guide left early. Was running late so did the right thing and let them know. They wouldn’t put us with another tour that day, but rather gave instructions on how to get in and catch tour. Orsay staff didn’t do what tour company instructed to do us so we could join tour in progress. Tour company unreceptive of feedback. Go pound sand.

Such a fantastic experience. Learning about the historic references behind the art and why these artists wanted things to change, brought everything to life. The visit to Musée D’Orsay would have been so much less without our knowledgeable guide who was so passionate about it

It was not easy to find the guide. You should give us her first name and to have a more visible sign to find her ( the text said orange banner, which banner?) Once the group was sort out, the visit went well. I like the approach of the guide for the theme, and it was good to enable to stay afterwards.

I originally booked this tour because it was the only way of getting in without standing in an endless line. However, I ended up learning a lot about art that I never would have without the excellent guide. The organization of group tours is outstanding and helps minimize the chaos that mass tourism can cause.

Much ado about nothing

Nice tour guide. It was a 1.5 hour tour but it took .5 hours just to get in the building. So crowded. The best parts of the impressionist collection are in a separate exhibit, another charge and requiring scheduling, but no one tells you until you get there.

Your instructions to meet your guide failed to reach us. We therefore missed the guided tour completely. Once at the museum no one was able to direct us to the guide since you are a private company. I had to purchase regular admission tickets and toured the museum on our own.
