  • Notes: Louvre museum may be subjected to occasional closures without previous warning from the museum management. When this occurs, we will provide guests with an appropriate alternative if the museum opening time is delayed more than 1h from the tour starting time. In these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts. Appropriate dress is required for entry into some sites on this tour. No large bags or suitcases are allowed inside the museum, only handbags or small thin bag packs are allowed through security. Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' or 'No Wait' access. Some specific rooms inside the museum are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this cases your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. Some collections may vary along the year.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

A great tour in under two hours. When they say, "skip the line," the mean it. Our small group of six breezed into the Louvre with our guide. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we did not feel pressured or hurried as we walked through with her. If you feel like you need to see every bit of the museum, after our guide says goodbye, you're able to stay in the Louvre and get your fill. Definitely and excellent tour: small, intimate, knowledgeable.

We highly recommend this tour. Achille was our tour guide - he was well-informed, had a great sense of humor, and the pace which we toured the museum was perfect. Also - he knew of the “secret bathroom” where there were no lines. Awesome ;)

Romain’s enthusiasm and knowledge base MADE this tour for me, and my teen daughters. He knew exactly where to go to show us the best highlights, super efficient so we saw and experienced as much as possible in our 3 hr tour. I would hire him for ANY tour he gave, regardless of the subject matter/location. He kept it so interesting, with great backstories (rooted in deep study on his part, clearly). Highly recommended!!!! Going with a guide is the only way to enjoy the best of the Louvre in half a day. If that’s the time you have, book with Viator…maybe you’ll be fortunate enough to get Romain as your guide!!! I am so pleased that WE did!

I have been to the Louvre a few years ago and left exhausted, confused, and certain that I missed a good portion of the exhibits. This trip to Europe, I booked the tour with Nancy at Babylon Tours through Viator and was delighted! She had an infinite knowledge of the exhibits making even traveling through the security line interesting. As important as the exhibits, Nancy showed us the private bathrooms and provided a secure locker for us to deposit our bulky coats so as not to have to lug them through this magnificent building with us. Take this wonderful tour!

Our guide Ashnil was amazing. He brought the Louvre alive by telling us interesting stories about various paintings to keep us engaged & grounded vs overwhelmed. He was so knowledgeable and particularly good with our teen kids relating renaissance paintings to modern cultural cues. We so appreciated our time in the museum with Ashnil!

Anatole was a wonderful tour guide. From helping us skip the line to providing the historical context behind the art we explored together, I learned so much more than I could have ever in my own. I really enjoyed learning about the art work and his guidance in interpreting and understanding the back story is each piece. It really brought the history of the art and its provenance to life. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and a delight. Beyond that, I appreciated his authenticity and the great tips for how to maneuver among the crowds quickly, especially at La Jaconde. Highly recommend Anatole's tour. The only criticism is I wish I could've received my tickets on my Samsung phone instead of needing a friend iPhone to receive them. A small inconvenience that wouldn't deter me. Just be prepared

Julien was a fantastic tour guide, knowledgeable and friendly! We learned so much about the history and certain back stories of the art pieces and periods. He made sure we understood why things were created as they were including colors, materials, etc. He showed us the popular pieces as well the more obscure. It was truly a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it and him!
