Meet us outside the main entrance gate to the Catacombs. Nearest metro: Denfert Rochereau. Exit at Sortie 1 and you will see the Catacombs entrance gate directly across the street. Your guide will be wearing their guide badge on an orange lanyard.

There are 130 steps to enter the Paris Catacombs and 112 steps to exit.
This tour is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

The tunnels can be slippery and remain at a temperature of around 14°C/57°F, even in summer. Guests are advised to wear sturdy shoes and bring warm clothing.
Tickets for the Catacombs are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. They must be used with the group at the booked time and their availability is limited. Entry times are also prebooked and are strictly adhered too, we must enter on time. For this reason we are unable to issue refunds to latecomers or no shows for missed tours.
If you plan to arrive at the meeting point by taxi, please ensure you leave yourselves plenty of time, it can often take a considerable amount of time to find a taxi in Paris!
The Catacombs are 20 meters/65 feet (and more) underground and the tunnels are narrow in places. This tour is not suitable for those with cardiac or respiratory problems, or suffering from claustrophobia.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Absolutely incredible, enthusiastic and informative guide, secret access and no waiting time! We were given plenty of photo opportunities, and the limited access areas and small group meant the tour felt very exclusive. Very cool and a must do in Paris I would say, by far my favourite part of my trip so far.

This was by far my favorite part of our trip to Paris. The guide was so knowledgeable and friendly, Quinton was his name and I would highly recommend him. It is a lot of walking and a lot of stairs. The extra access to the restricted area was well worth it.

Informative but not sure worth the cost

The main detractor is that you can book entire day trips for almost the same cost as this 2 hour tour. Informative and guide was great for what the tour was. Wish there would have been more info about WW2 usage but thats not included.

Thank you for your comments, we are very glad you enjoyed your tour and hope we can address your concerns about the cost here. This tour is a semi private tour for 6 guests maximum. We buy special tickets at the catacombs that allow us access to restricted areas that are closed to the general public, these areas will be unlocked for you and your small group. We have to buy them several months in advance and they are very difficult to get. We also buy a reservation which allows us to skip any lines and go straight in. Our guides are all professionals, we pay them correctly for the wonderful work that they do leading these tours of the catacombs. I'm sure that our guests will agree that having a good guide makes for a very special moment in this very special place. If you are interested in any subjects in particular please don't hesitate to ask your guide during the tour, they are always happy to answer any questions! If you would like to learn about what went on underground during WWII, there is another wonderful museum right by the catacombs which covers this, the Musee de la Liberation Leclerc Moulin. Here you can see the underground defense shelter used as command headquarters by Colonel Rol Tanguy. We hope that you had a fantastic stay here in Paris!

Great tour, can’t compare to the self guided tour. Although I felt like they got info that we didn’t. But I guess that’s too be expected although I wish we got both for the price. Our tour guide Leo was excellent. She knew a lot of information!

We had the best tour guide!!!

First off, the tour was a major treat. If you can't handle stairs, there is only one way in and one way out -- 200 stairs. We had no problem, but an older couple was having issues. Our tour guide was excellent and had many great insider stories. Overall --- A++
