Breathtaking, nightscape with thunder and lightning!

OMG. We had an evening viewing. Spectacular not only did we get to see Paris go from day to night. Beautiful with looking down from the Summit and seeing the sparkling lights, but we also got an incredible electrical storm while we up there. Stunning, really made the experience breathtaking, Outstanding,Stunning.

Disappointing Eiffel Tower Experience: Misleading Guided Tour

My recent visit to the Eiffel Tower was unfortunately overshadowed by frustration and disappointment, largely due to the guided tour I had eagerly booked in hopes of bypassing the notoriously long lines. What was supposed to be a seamless and insightful experience turned into a chaotic ordeal that left me questioning the value of guided tours altogether. Upon arrival at the designated meeting point, my anticipation quickly turned to dismay as I realized that the promised advantage of skipping the queues was nothing more than a pipe dream. Instead, I found myself standing in a seemingly endless line of fellow tourists, all equally bewildered by the discrepancy between expectation and reality. Although our guide made valiant efforts to keep our spirits up and provide snippets of historical information about the iconic landmark, her enthusiasm was unable to mask the frustration brewing within our group. With each passing minute spent inching forward in the queue, it became increasingly apparent that the advertised perks of the guided tour were nowhere to be found. To add insult to injury, the lack of clear communication prior to the tour only exacerbated our disappointment. There was a glaring absence of information regarding what to expect in terms of wait times and the extent of the tour's ability to circumvent them. Had I been adequately informed of the potential delays, I might have managed my expectations accordingly or opted for an alternative experience altogether. By the time we finally ascended the tower, any semblance of excitement had been dampened by the frustration of the preceding hours. While the views from the top were undoubtedly breathtaking, they were tainted by the bitter aftertaste of a poorly executed tour. In hindsight, I cannot recommend this guided tour to fellow travelers in good conscience. The failure to deliver on its promises, coupled with the lack of transparency regarding the realities of the experience, left me feeling disheartened and disillusioned. If you're considering a visit to the Eiffel Tower, I would strongly advise exploring alternative options that prioritize honesty and efficiency over empty promises.

It was not a pleasant tour. It was disorganized and disappointing. The guide asked to wait besides the benches while he collect ppl who went to the bathroom and for stuck for 20+ minutes, we saw him running after, if my friend didn't say he is going we would have remained seated waiting for him. He didn't know how many ppl he has with him I feel cheated of my money

Thanks to Anna (our guide) it was an outstanding visit to the Eiffel Tower. She managed to get us on the Top and she explained everything and all about the Eiffel Tower. I traveled with my daughter and she made it so interesting and well understandable for my little one so that she was also impressed from all the stories and interesting facts. Very disappointed in this tour. We booked a 7:30 PM tour so we could see the sites both during the daytime and at night but by the time our tour guide organized the group and we queued in line several times and she gave a ridiculous long winded information and history on not only the Eiffel Tower, but several sites that we already visited in Paris. We finally got to see The views from the second floor at 9 PM - after it was dark. So missed seeing Paris in the light. Waste of money as the guide ruined our experience. We should’ve just stood in line and bought tickets on our own.

We got lucky and didn’t have terrible lines. You go through 2 security checkpoints before the elevators. We went to the summit which gives an awesome view of the city. Our guide was informative and funny. The lines to take the elevator back down are very long.

You must go to the top of the Eiffel Tower!

If you can't get tickets directly from the Eiffel Tower, this is a next option. Otherwise, the tour was nothing great and we stood in line like everyone else. They just directed us towards which line to use.

I expected more from this tour. All the tour guide did was walk us to the line. We didn’t even have skip the line access we had to wait in line with everyone else. After waiting on the line we walked to the lift and that was it didn’t see the tour guide again.

Things happen when you travel with an 86 year old person. Like maybe the got addresses confused and you show up at the wrong pick up location. So you frantically call trying everything you can to save this potential beautiful memory. And what do you get? The flippant, rude and uncaring customer service agent. Barely pays attention to what you are explaining because the only thing they are trained to do is count to see if it is 24 hours before the event so you can qualify for a refund, otherwise they just DONT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Henry, our guide, was really good, considerate, and informative. The experience was immense. The only downside was the fact that we had booked the option to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. However, some operational issue only let us go to the second “floor”.

Leo was wonderful! He was knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. Be aware - this tour requires you to wait in line for tickets. You will arrive to the queue 45 minutes early and wait outside until it opens. Prepare for cold or hot weather! You are pretty much left to explore on your own once you’re escorted inside, but we appreciated that. Overall, great job by Leo and wonderful experience!
