Do visit the Sainte-Chapelle and Cobciergerie, but not from Viator site.

We followed the email instructions to meet in front of Sainte-Chapelle, but there was no guide. I tried to call the tour guide to no avail. The ticket booth staff made numerous phone calls to find out what was going on, and tried to help. We finally entered Sainte-Chapelle on our own, then proceeded to the Conciergerie which is hard to navigate with the ipad guide. The tour was very expensive and we were reimbursed 75%. I felt since we did go on our own, we should pay something. This is not the first Viator sponsored tour that ended poorly.
An unfortunate experience

It was an unfortunate experience. Although our Guide, Alex, was personable, he showed up 18 minutes late. I think our small group would have tolerated Alex’s tardiness, but during the second half of our tour, the Conciergerie, Alex he then spent 1/3 of the time sitting on a bench, looking at his phone, than engaging with us. When asked questions, he would tell us to look at the iPad given to us at the entrance. He did not seem interested in providing history on what we were seeing. We spent the time on our own looking educating ourselves. We have been on many private tours, and this by far is one that I would not recommend. Again, this was very unfortunate!

This tour was outsourced from Viator to another tour offering company which I was unaware of at the time of booking. My guide was lovely but English was not her first or second language, so many questions went misunderstood or not understood entirely.
Not Best Value for Experience

We did see everything as described for the tour but it didn’t feel like we experienced the sites as would be expected for a bespoke tour despite our guide being very kind. There was some disorganization about entry points & ticketing which cut into our time & made the tour to feel rushed as our guide had another to get to immediately following ours. As a history buff I didn’t learn anything from our guide that I wasn’t already familiar with which was a bit of a disappointment as I had expected the guide to be an area expert.
