Great tour to Castles!

Olga was great! We really had a great experience even with the rain all day. Loved the three castles all were different but learned a lot about each castle and the history of them. . Driver was great!

The 3 castles were each remarkable in their own way. Our guide was lovely but very soft spoken so we had a hard time hearing her! Wine tasting was not offered on our tour!

We had the most extraordinary journey! It was more than just going to visit beautiful castles and driving through incredible countryside with brilliant green grasses and wildflowers everywhere. Our guide was generous and informative and a pleasure to be with! The end of our day was a double rainbow...sort of summed it up!

Four stars because of the tour itself, but pickup gets a zero

The chateaus and wine tasting were fantastic. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided loads of commentary and information. However there was over an hour late start because he could NOT read the address of the hotel for pickup and would NOT listen to the name given him or read it on the chat despite three confirmations. Then since no number was provided to call him I had to track him down via Viator. After being more than an hour late he wanted to cancel our tour (the highlight of our Paris trip) because I was “upset”. I would highly Recommended this tour, this guide just needs someone else driving that pays attention to details like location.

I love history, I have read a lot about French History and about its kings. This tour did not disappoint! Olga and Roman were amazing guides. The castles we visited were beyond beautiful, Olga was so knowledgeable about them all. Lunch was perfect. The wine tasting was the best way to end the tour! I would do this tour again tomorrow!

Diana was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable about the history of the castles. There wasn’t a confirm on the hotel pickup, but they arrived to get us at the day and time that was ordered, and dropped us off that night. It was a good way to get out of the city.

The castles were amazing! Chambord and Chenonceau are incredible! Amboise has amazing historical significance. Wine tasting and caves were great. The driver was 20 minutes late, picking us up so when we got to the third château, our time was cut short and we were unable to see the second floor of Chenonceau-which is the best of the three castles. The driver was continually texting while driving, even after being asked to stop texting. Stressful trip. We also took time away from the trip to pick up Valerie our guide at her apartment, and take her home before dropping us off.

Poor review starting with "The castles were amazing! ". For Your information: We pick up all clients from their hotels which takes time to go from one hotel to another. So we have started like scheduled at 07:30. On the web we give the Step by step correct product description with exact timing mentioning how much time we are going to spend at each place. Clean and comfortable Mercedes minivan with adjustable seats. Correct price (by bigger buses you can find cheaper for sure). Professional Guide and driver serving clients 13 hours long giving due to other reviews very good historical informations. Anyway everybody can look for other trips to Loire valley castles by other suppliers.

I’m 60 and ever since I was a high school student in French class I had a dream of seeing the grand chateaux of the Loire Valley. Tout was wonderful. Guide very knowledgeable of French history and polite. Time was tight because you see ALOT in one day. But it was grand. Took my trip from a great trip to a grand trip. Just lovely.

Our guide/ driver: Caray , pronounced “Cyrus?”, was astounding! His knowledge, on so many issues was always enlightening. His driving was also terrific. It is a long day but the chateaus were fascinating. The lunch in Amboise was superb. If you have a full day, it will be very memorable. And if you get “Cary” it will be phenomenal!

Took this tour with my family. Loved that it was a small group which allowed for more accessibility to the tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and seemed to be generally interested in the fact that the participants were taken care of. The castles visited were absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend taking this tour to get more of a taste of what France has to offer. My girlfriend HATES history and enjoyed this tour!! That says a lot. The wine tasting was a nice bonus; however like most wine tastings...you get a taste. Another bonus is that the price of a bottle of the fine French wine is a fraction of how much I pay during wine tastings in the states.

This was an amazing trip and a highlight of our entire trip. The pick-up at the hotel was great. Fillip was a very nice host/tour guide. He gave us details about each castle. We only had 6 in our group, so it was ideal. The lunch stop was in a great little town/area with so many choices. The wine tasting was the most unique wine tasting I have ever been to. And the 3rd and final castle was a real show stopper! I highly recommend this trip!

Not worth the money

Tour operator barely spoke English and was in country for only one month. Didn't know any history and frankly should not have been on the tour. He basically followed us around so we didn't get lost.

Awesome day tour to see three castles and go wine tasting in the beautiful Loire Valley! It was a long 13-hour day but we loved every minute! The castles are amazing. Lots of history too. We had an amazing time. Highly recommended!

3 castles is too much in one day. 2 would be enough. A winery tour would be better in the afternoon. Wine tasting felt rushed.

This is a 3 Castles trip to Chambord, Chenonceau and Amboise castles. We offer as well the same 2 Castles trip. It is not a wine tasting tour anyway. The wine tasting starts at 13:00 (One PM). In France it is considered as Afternoon. We spend just 40 minutes at the vinery. For Wine lovers we have got special wine tasting tours to Chablis, to Champagne etc when we spend there the whole day. The note TWO I can explain myself only thinking that You like this number 2 like the number of the Castles You wanted to visit.
