Spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower Summit

When we went to the Summit and was able to see the Apartment of Mr Eiffel with his guests is amazingly beautiful 🤗. Our tour guide helps us where to see the spot of that Apartment. We really enjoyed the tour and our tour guide is awesome!

We recently booked to go to the summit of the Eiffel Tower during our trip to Paris. We were very disappointed with our booking. We booked the tickets on Viator in order to secure tickets to the attraction, to ensure we could visit during our trip, however this was not the case. When we arrived and met our guides, they took us through to security and we joined the line for tickets. We queued for around an hour before being told the summit was closed for the day due to being sold out, therefore we could only go to the second floor. Our booking with Viator was to go to the summit. We were given no option to leave the attraction and receive a full refund. Instead we were then taken to the next queue, where we waited for around another 40 minutes to get the lift to the second floor. During this time, the guides stood with us and told us a few facts about the Eiffel Tower. Once we got to the front of the queue and went up to the second floor, the guides left us and we did not see them again. Firstly, we booked the attraction with Viators with the understanding that our tickets would be purchased and therefore on the day we would not be disappointed and unable to visit the summit of the attraction, this was not the case. No tickets were purchased beforehand by the providers and they therefore sold out. It is not clear on the website that you would have to queue for your tickets. I understood this was not a queue jump booking, however we believed we would be queuing for the attraction and not the tickets themselves. Secondly, this is described as a guided tour. This was not a guided tour, the guides took us to the to queue and gave us a few facts while we waited to go up the tower. Once we got to the second floor they then left. Finally, we have paid a total of £114.12 for two people for this attraction. When we got to the attraction, tickets to the second floor (which is all we could complete) were €18.80 each, this is a significant amount less than we have paid. When we requested a refund from Viators, they have so far offered us a refund of £18.10. This is obviously a significant amount less than we paid for the tickets. Even taking into account the costs of the tickets to the second floor, this is still far from satisfactory. We were extremely disappointed with this booking, and if we knew booking via Viator would not secure the tickets, we would not have booked at all and in fact we may as well have obtained them once at the attraction itself. We will not be returning to Paris and have missed out on a valuable experience.

I loved this. Ekaette, our guide, was informed, paid attention to keeping the group together, and gave a lot of good information about the Eiffel Tower. AND we got to get up to the Summit! YAY! I was very happy with the timing as well. We chose 7:30pm and were able to see the sunset and see the lights on in the city below. We were there till 10pm so we also saw the sparkle lights at 10 (we were already down by then) but, it was a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend it. Also Ekaette was loud enough to hear without needed an audio device. Her voice projected well! Great job Ekaette! Loved the tour!

Very disappointed with the viator and the total experience

After paying high price ( approximately 80 euros per person online (the normal cost per ticket than the cost at the entrance by the Eiffel Tower was about 20 euros ) we still had to wait in the extremely long line and found out that our guide had to wait in the same line and buy the tickets like a regular visitor for the regular gate cost (20 euros) and because of this delay we were not able to go all the way to the top and was told that we were going to get a partial refund but no refund yet !!! The guide was good but the arrangements was poor and the experience was disappointing. No contact information easily available to discuss the refund on website. Won’t recommend this company

Visit to Eiffel Tower

We met our guide Anna & other members of our tour outside the grounds of the Eiffel Tower about 4:00 PM. From there we went inside & waited a fair bit of time to access the elevator to the 2nd floor. Anna gave us many facts about the history of the tower. From there we took elevator to the summit & saw some spectacular views of the city. Thanks Anna for a memorable experience!

Fant Fantastic Tour, our guide was fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. This is a must do when in Paris. Be prepared to wait and lines may be long, so be patient.

we missed the guide. we tried to call the phone no but nobody answered. we had to go by ourselves and buy tickets. I worte to viatoe and did't get an answer. lost 350 USD for nothing.

Eiffel Tower is overrated. Louvre is better.

A lot of expectations but the real exciting thing about Eiffel Tower is the view from the tower. You would get it from any tall buildings or structures. I don’t think the summit option is worth it; the view from the second floor is as good as on the top. I did that so you don’t have to. Div, the tour guide for us, is okay. We learned little bits of the history of the tower.

Our tour guide was extremely rude and disrespectful!!! In addition the line to get in was about an hour and a half long and we had paid for the package to take us all the way to the summit and it was closed.

Worth every penny! Our guide didn’t give up when they closed the summit and we waited patiently, and we were in the front of the line when it reopened. She knew the tricks and was able to help us navigate the entire experience.

I do not understand why Viator allows the company listed on site. It ruins the reputation of the site. I definitely do not recommend the package provided by Discovery. You can get ticket by yourself in the same way as they do for you. It totally wastes the money.

'Tour Guide' was friendly enough but didn't really add to experience - could have found out the same information via Wikipedia. Thought I was buying guaranteed tickets for the Eiffel Tower which were sold out direct. We still had to queue with the 'guide' to get tickets which were available to anyone turning up on the day. We could have done this without a guide and saved over £20 per person, so not impressed.

Complete mis-advertisement! I would avoid this at all costs! If you wish to book the summit, book it directly as this company do not pre-book any tickets for the Eiffel Tower. You join the same queue as everyone else whilst the tour guide purchases your tickets for you (whilst having to wait for everyone else in the group to arrive), and if the 2nd floor or summit is fully booked on arrival (which it usually is in peak times) they will claim it's closed and you can't go. I wish I read the reviews before booking.
