My wife and I had a fantastic day on the wine tour with Tim in early March. Although Swan Valley is the second oldest wine region in Australia after Hunter Valley, its wines are less well known than neighbouring Margaret River. Due to global warming, the vineyards have introduced various heat resistant varieties from Spain, Portugal and Italy such as Verdelho, Tempranillo, Sangiovese and others in recent years, and they offered great pleasant surprises. Three of the four wineries that we visited were boutiques, allowing more cosy conversations and in-depth exchanges. In contrast, the winery that we visited for lunch was too big and too commercialised even though the food at lunch was decent. Tim has a lot of personal life experiences to share having lived in France and Europe for a number of years before coming back to Australia. It was a very enjoyable tour.

The tour introduces four wineries of different characteristics in Swan Valley, which is one of the most historical wine regions. Each one of wineries generously offers wine tasting of their various products. And lunch in a one of wineries has very high quality. It’s very worthy for wine lovers to spend one perfect day.

Get to experience a variety of winery and Tim is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with local history and the progression of wine making of Swan valley. Learned a lot and drank a lot. This small group tour with Tim was fantastic. Everything was arranged including a door pick up from the hotel then 4 incredible wine tastings with morning tea, amazing lunch and rounded off with a chocolate tasting. Tim owns and operates this business so nothing is left to chance and he pulls out all stops to ensure each person is well looked after. I loved that we got to visit some of the smaller family owned wineries which made for a very personal experience. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

We had a great Swan Valley tour with Tim he is awesome so knowledgeable and it is great that Swan Valley is so close to the city so you’re not wasting hours driving to and from. The tour was only 6 of us which was great as we really got personal attention, he takes a max of 10 so really great small groups. The wineries he took us to were all fantastic all very different with a different range of wines which were all delicious.

Tim was a fabulous host, very lovely and the tour was amazing! Loved that it was mostly boutique wineries and very private settings. Lunch was delicious and the wineries all very unique. Loved this tour and would do it again in a heartbeat! Loved that it was a smaller group so it was easier to get to know everyone on the tour! Book this tour and you will have such a lovely time! 10/10 recommend!
