Chichen Itza is incredibly popular, and for good reason - the ancient Mayan city is one of the Seven New Wonders of the World and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The resulting crowds can make it hard to appreciate the grandeur of the site, so this tour begins early to beat the crowds. Then after your visit to Chichen Itza, while everyone is is just turning up to the site, visit the Cenote Ik-kill, a traditional tequila distillery and the romantic town of Valladolid.

Could have been a great tour, if it actually happened.

We booked this excursion a few weeks ago. Today was our scheduled tour date, and we received our confirmation and tickets from Viator yesterday. We waited at the correct time and correct place, but our ride never showed up. It was an early departure and when we were finally able to get through to Viator after repeatedly trying the tour provider, we were told that the tour provider never confirmed hotel pickup. By the time we realized that our tour was cancelled it was too late to book another tour because they had already departed. Unfortunately, we are leaving in a few days and are not able to reschedule. We did receive a refund, but we are really bummed we won't be able to see Chichen Itza. Unless you have time to scramble to find another tour, and are ok with bad communication, I wouldn't recommend that you book this tour.

This tour was worth the price! Pickup and drop-off were on time and easy to arrange. Pablo, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Chichen Itza was absolutely incredible to see in person and swimming in the cenote was magical! Very much recommend.

Paula was amazing! Highly recommend taking this trip. Communication was smooth and effortless. She was gracious enough to drive the extra way for us to see a cenote we really wanted to see and also to stop on the way so we can shop from locals. Chichen Itza itself came to life because of her explanations. We had a day filled with so much fun, so positive and easy and full of memories we will cherish forever. Will use her company Meksykanka for all our trips from now on. Food we had was great and the prices for the trip were perfect. Tequila factory, the small town, the cenotes ... everything!

What an amazing tour with Paulina !!! We had fabulous day with her!!! We opted for a private tour and couldn't have been happier. From the time she picked us up till she dropped us off she was pleasant, professional and full of knowledge. We felt so special. Arriving early to Chichen Itza is the way to go!!! Then off to the Ik Kil cenote for a swim and lunch--remarkable. The tequila factory was super interesting and fun!! Then a visit to an authentic Mayan town----no cookie cutter tour her. We would highly recommend Paulina and her team for a personalized experience!!! Thank you Thank you !!!
