Overview

Set sail along the Riviera Maya on this half-day cruise from Puerto Aventuras and admire the views from the water.     There is a drop off point for taxi's and buses outside the Dreams Hotel Puerto Aventuras. We are on the doc opposite the Dreams Hotel about half way down. There is street parking around the adjacent streets of the Catamaran.

Wonderful ride and the snorkeling was beautiful. I’d recommend bringing your own gear to avoid the wait getting set up- you’ll have more time in the water. The slide and rafts were a fun touch after the snorkel and lunch was fantastic.

Cata Maya crew was very attentive and fun and professional! Upon arrival, we were charged a surprise $30 "dock fee" that was unexpected. I checked all my paperwork and communications and this was not mentioned to us beforehand- it should be mentioned.
No snorkeling, 15 minutes sailing, no refund.

We booked this not inexpensive cruise for the sailing and the snorkeling, as the title indicates. We were supposed to spend 1.5 hours sailing and 45 minutes snorkeling, then have the rest of the time for lunch. Within 20 minutes of leaving the port they told us the water was too rough for sailing and snorkeling, and took us to a calm inlet where we stayed the rest of the time. No snorkeling, no sailing. If I wanted to get drunk on the beach I could do that on my own. The crew was nice enough but I felt like the whole thing was shady.
If you're going to do a catamaran excursion, this is the one to do!

The Catamaya is a lovely boat, much larger and comfier than the other cruising catamarans that we saw. The food aboard was *excellent.* Grilled chicken and tilapia superb. The crew were extremely friendly and tried to ensure that everyone had a good time, including organizing a kind of community dance on the deck in the last hour. If you're going to do a catamaran excursion, this is the one to do!

the day before the excursion i got an email saying it would be cancelled with no explanation. when i asked why they said due to the weather but the weather was perfect that day. he then stopped replying to me. i have not received a refund and viator is obviously unaware of the cancellation.

We had the absolute best time! The reviews on here are on point. The crew was amazing and really matched the vibe of the group! The food was delicious and fresh off the grill. We loved jumping off the boat and swimming around the reef. Highly recommend!!!
