Super relaxing experience

Bus on time, quick transfer to Blue Lagoon, swift entrance, not too busy and soooooo beautiful and relaxing. And the evacuation started just after we left whew!!

So well organised . A fabulous experience . The drive to the Lagoon was especially interesting because a few weeks ago there had been a volcanic eruption and we were able to see the lava flow across the road and steam rising by the side of the road and in the distance . The Lagoon was so well organised . Within a few minutes we were in the water . It wasn’t too busy . Amazingly warm and relaxing . A pool bar and face mask added to the experience . Wonderful , and entirely natural .

Blue lagoon was amazing. Changing rooms are spotless. Arrive early for the return bus as they get full quickly.

Relaxing and wasn't too busy this time of the year. The food in the restaurant was really realty good. Lobster soup was a first for me, so glad I tried it. The system in the lagoon ran smoothly. Staff were on top of their game.

Blue Lagoon Dream Come True!!

Even tho the weather was cold and rainy my 3 grandkids and myself were able to enjoy the Blue Lagoon with face masks and drinks. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Thank you for a fun experience.

Poor experience at high cost

At the point of going to this trip there was a high potential of a volcanic eruption in the Blue Lagoon area. We were not offered the chance of a refund like other companies, instead we were told trip cut short and had to take 2:15 pm return coach or could be stranded at Blue Lagoon resort. Upon arrival my ticket was not recognised by the Blue Lagoon resort, even though I had clear confirmation from Viator so we wasted another 20 mins trying to get entry to resort. Fair play to Blue Lagoon they let us have access as poor admin not our fault. So basically paid £270 for 2 people to spend approximately 1 hr in resort. Definitely not value for money.

The experience was amazing! The water temperature was very warm and clean. I love the beach bar onsite. Although, the outside temperature was cold, the blue lagoon gives that warm relaxing feeling. I would come back again.

Blue Lagoon is a Must

The Blue Lagoon is a must when in Reykjavik. I would recommend upgrading from the comfort package as you don't get a robe and the locker rooms are more spacious with the upgraded package. That might sound picky, but if it is chilly, you will be glad you did. Having the transfers is very helpful unless you rented a car. The transfer back will give you a variety of time options to return.

Good but coud be improved

Being in the warm water on a cold day was lovely and being offered a free drink was a nice touch. We did think that the staff could have been more informative about how to proceed. Compared with other tourist experiences in Iceland we think that the staff here could be better trained to deal with visitors from all over the world. Also, adequate signage should be on display. For example, lockers with the same numbers can be found in three different areas and looking for ours in the wrong room only to find them open and empty was disconcerting.

Lovely experience

Driver was great, we were on time and he had a lovely manner. The blue lagoon was great. We went at 9am and the first bus back was 1.15pm so quite a long visit, was fine for us but if you don't want to stay so long then maybe go a little later.

Excellent and easy transport to the fabulous Blue Lagoon. Make sure to get the comfort package to save time when you want to leave. With a drink and mask included, you don’t need to wait in line to pay to exit. Multiple shuttle times back to the city.

Very enjoyable experience would definitely recommend others to go. Comfort pack includes free mask, drink and towel. Went in the evening. Unfortunately did not see Northern lights. Maybe next time though 😊
