• Please note that your tour will start from Reykjavík Terminal, centrally located at Skógarhlíð 10, 105 Reykjavík. • If you have chosen a hotel pick up: Please be ready to leave outside your accommodation or the nearest Bus stop with your proof of purchase, 30 minutes before departure time. Look for the Green SmartBus which will be outside your accommodation at your pick up time. • Pick up starts 30 minutes prior to departure, meaning tha it can take up to 30 minutes to pick all guests up. Therefore it is important that you are at your pick up location no later than 30 min prior departure time, because we might pick you up first. We might also pick you up last, so please be patient and wait at your chosen pick up location for our coach to arrive. • Because of traffic limitations, customers staying in postcode 101 might have to make their way to the closest pick-up spot. Your hotel receptionist can help you find out which one that is. • Please note: pickup is not available from Airbnb or private housing. Please contact the operator for information on the nearest pick-up location to your accommodation. • It is recommended to bring warm clothes and good shoes for the northern lights tour and swimwear for the blue lagoon • Audio-guide languages available: English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Finnish • Remember to bring your own headphones, if you don’t have them with you can purchase headphones from us onboard.

Blue lagoon and cancelled northern lights tour

The blue lagoon is amazing and a special must see experience. The pick up was efficient however when we were dropped off at the blue lagoon we weren’t given any information RE what time we needed to come back to the coach. We also received the email that the 2nd part of our tour has been cancelled due to weather that evening and we could either reschedule or be refunded. We relied on other passengers on the tour for information on our return. Overall a worthwhile trip but communication could have been better!

Appalling service

Do not book with this company, absolutely appalling service, firstly the transfer didn’t turn up for the blue lagoon as they say it did, we stood at our bus stop at 1:15pm the information was to wait at the bus stops at 1:30 until 2pm was a no show from 1:15! Didn’t reply to any of my emails and couldn’t get through to the company! We was 2 hours late to the blue lagoon so lost a lot of time, the Northern lights got cancelled twice due to wether when other company’s were going out and seeing them then lastly when I have requested a refund they have offered me 25% which is £37 pound each with the booking I made for 2 people, this excursion cost £291! Wouldn’t even give them 1 star!

Two in one trip

Experienced the Blue Lagoon the day before they closed it. Well organised trip and should be on everyone’s list to do. Northern lights was great even though it was classed as unsuccessful, we still got to see these through a camera lens. Experiencing this makes you realise how small we are on this planet.

Unforgettable

Overall the experience was good. However the tour description was not so precise. We had to leave the Blue Lagoon 1 hour earlier in order to get back to our accommodation, get changed and ready for the next pick up for the norther lights part. It was a pity "losing" this hour. The interval between the two activities is too short if one stays 4 hours in the Blue Lagoon, unless you have everything with you packed for the second part. Also the mentioned points, that should have been included: - Complimentary star map - Touch screen audio guide with a choice of 10 languages - Use of astronomy binocular and camera tripods were not provided.

Relaxing adventure

Beautiful spot. Very organized tour pick up for lagoon. Lagoon is large and is so relaxing. Even on a cold day the water is so warm you do not get a chill. You never have to walk outside because you can enter the warm water from the locker area. Silica face mask leaves your face feeling wonderful. The swim up bar only has beer and non alcohol but it was ok. The lagoon is a must, plan 3 hours there. The lights were not visible due to the clouds but they do offer a free rebook to go out again. Weather changes in Iceland by the minute.

Great experiences but not so well organised excursion!

Bus times very erratic, no clear information given on bus pick ups, no drivers seemed to have our names recorded along with other people, bus itinerary unclear, from blue lagoon to northern lights tour there was a layover of 90 mins in the main bus hostel .Then no one had our names to get the northern lights bus so a group of us had to be dispersed among various buses. The blue lagoon itself was amazing & very well organised within. The northern lights weren't too clear for us but we managed to get a couple of pics. We know there's no guarantee when going looking for them. Would recommend going to see both tours / attractions. I just don't think I'd recommend this particular excursion.

A great double tour

Another well organised pair of tours which included hotel pick up which was changed to pick up from a bus stop (as I imagine most pick ups would be as they are not too far from hotels so can pick up multiple people at the same time), our bus stop was just across the road from our hotel which was perfect! The tour was to start at 2pm with pick up from half 1, we were picked up at about 1:45 and taken to a larger coach to be transported to the blue lagoon which took about an hour on the coach. We weren't sure what time the coach back would be but when arriving the driver informed us coaches went back to Reykjavik every 15 minutes so people could spend as long as they wanted at the lagoon knowing there would always be a coach to take them back. Checked in with booking reference and given a wristband which included 1 free drink and any others purchased were done so with the band and paid for when leaving. We spent about 2 hours in the lagoon and did not get bored as it was lovely and spacious. There is also an area where you can get a mud mask and there is a sauna and steam room as well. Your stuff is kept in a locker which is accessible via your wristband so it is safe while you are in the water. Waterproof phone cases can also be purchased with the wristbands from the bar. The lagoon was busy but not too busy or 'touristy' that you couldn't enjoy it which is something I had heard but didn't find to be the case. Would happily go again. The bus also dropped us back at our bus stop which was ideal We then had time for some food and a rest before the northern lights tour which was also ran with the same efficiency, being picked up at our bus stop from half 8 (again about a 15 min wait at the stop) where we were taken to a larger coach for the tour which left at 9. The tour guide, Hilda, was informative and explained where we were going (about a 40 minute drive), what to expect and how to set cameras up to take the best pictures of the lights. We arrived at the location and had to wait about 30-45 minutes before we saw anything but it was worth the wait. The lights were seen much better on photos at first but the longer you wait the more prominent they become. One of the tour guides was also a photographer and was taking pictures of people on his camera. We stayed out for a couple of hours in which time the lights remained mainly visible before disappearing. We headed back to Reykjavik and again were dropped off at our bus stop

The blue lagoon was amazing, you can walk in from inside so you don’t need to go out in the cold, we chose the smoothies for our free drinks and they were both really good but the orange was better, we spent about 2 hours in the water and then ate some sushi in the cafe as it was cheaper than the restaurant and the food was good The only thing I would say is try not to get your hair in the lagoon water as mine was dry for days afterwards even after using loads of conditioner but after a few face masks it’s feeling better The northern lights were also amazing and I love that the guide tells you how to set your camera or phone settings to get the best photos, she also brought her own camera and took photos of us that were uploaded online for you to download free of charge Only negative thing about the lights is we were not given a complimentary star map as stated in the description, which was something I would have been really interested to look at

Not Worth It - Book Events Separately

Each event, The Blue Lagoon and the Northern Lights Tour, was excellent but the reason for only giving it three stars is because there was no organization, no direction on timing, what bus and where to be when. We went back and forth to the bus depot a couple times. Several of us waited on three different lines for buses to see the northern lights and finally after three tries we found the bus with our names. There’s no reason to book this as one if you’re hoping for a stress free day and evening. Better to book separately so there’s a clear direction for each event.

Have had the best day Ever !!! Pick up from hotel takes the pressure off- off to Blue Lagoon - can spend however long you like here then buses leave every hour- Place is amazing - spent three hours here ! Back to hotel to leave off swimwear and wrap up for Northern lights … everything is so straightforward and zero hassle ! This can be a long night but boy it was worth it - heading home after not seeing the lights and all of a sudden - our bus pulled off the road and what a sight … truly magical … this group can’t do enough ! 100% recommend ! Booked another trip tomorrow for golden circle ! Can’t fault them - thank you for making our Iceland dream come true
