Holy Doors Tour

This was a truly informative tour that allowed our family to immerse ourselves into the history of Rome's 'other' churches. Roberto had a deep knowledge of the history and conveyed that knowledge w/ excellence. For those that want a different Rome experience this tour is well recommended.

Our tour guide Roberto was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable . Great way to enhance your faith. We have been to the Vatican, but getting to see some of the relics that are specifically linked to Jesus and his life brought enlightenment. Getting to climb the Scala Sancta on our knees is a pilgrimage we would gladly do again.

He has a brilliant storytelling ability and has a knack of taking you to the most interesting and important parts of every church visited, with detailed explanations of their significance. The tour shows you the sights of Rome rarely seen - I’m so glad we went, and the small group size enhances the experience dramatically. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Roberto took his time to make sure we understood what we were seeing/experiencing and how history played a part in Christianity/Catholicism. We booked this tour because of the specific Basilicas we wanted to visit while in Rome. Roberto's knowledge and gentle manor in delivering his knowledge made us feel like we were experiencing Roman life as it was developing years ago. We would recommend this tour to everyone. There was a lot of walking but manageable even for people with desk jobs. Being able to go up the Scala Santa made our pilgrimage fulfilled. We are grateful for the ability Roberto had for managing time and pacing to keep us able to see and do all that we did. Roberto and this tour is something we will never forget. By the end of the tour, we even made new friends. So much to be grateful for and reflect on. Happy St. Peter and Paul's day and Happy Birthday Roberto.

Wonderful guide with great knowledge of importance of the Catholic faith as well as history and legends. I would do this tour again in a second. No crowds and you could tell the locals were familiar with him and he knew when certain sights would be available to see

10/10 This tour was incredible! What an amazing itinerary and Roberto was so informative. He really thought through the organization of this tour and walks you through so much history surrounding all the churches.
