Again lack of communication from your associates as well as tour guide. We paid for a free attraction. The last 2 weeks we spent more time o. The phone with your company than our family.

Great guide, but too much waiting

We had a very good guide, knowing a lot about ancient Rome, and speaking really good English. Unfortunately, the "guaranteed skip the line" did not work that day (during Easter), as we had to wait 45 minutes to get into Forum. This delayed the whole trip, and when we arrived at Colosseum, we were facing the same kind of line, so we had to leave early to catch our plane. We would have loved to hear the exiting story about Colosseum, but that will have to wait for another time.

Our original tour was canceled the day before we were supposed to go. It was a morning tour so we could avoid some of the afternoon heat so we’re were very disappointed especially since no explanation was given. We scrambled at the last minute and found this tour. It started at 1:30 and ended at 4:30. Our guide was Corinna who also happened to be an archaeologist. She was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and shared just enough information to not overwhelm the group.

Will never book with Viator again

Timing was changed and i was not notified. I showed up and was told they had forgotten to include me in the updated time notice and i would receive a full refund. Viator is now telling me they are not refunding me and are not responding to my emails

Our tour guide was terrible. We paid to skip the line, but we were RUSHED through the entire process at the colesseum and were not given directions about the the other places. Barely had any time to take pictures or take in the once in a lifetime experience. I wish I would’ve waited in line and gone at my own pace.

Excellent guide who spoke very good English. She did just the right amount of talking, and provided lots of interesting stories about the Colosseum without talking too much. Perfect amount of details to keep the attention of teenagers! We also loved that the guide took us to the entrance of Forum Romanum but then we were free to explore independently. The only thing keeping us from giving a top review was the initial waiting time for this so-called “skip-the-line” ticket. We had to wait outside the office in the sun for about 30 min from the announced meeting time until the tour actually began, and then another 30 minutes of waiting in line outside the Colosseum with our guide.

Not worth the money!

We would have gotten a lot more info if we would have gone without the guide. It was extremely hot and our guide rushed us past all the exhibits so we were not able to read anything We thought this ticket had a guided tour of the Roman forum and Palatine hill as well. It only had a guide for the colosseum. Very misleading wording and not worth the money! Shame on you, gladiator tours/viator!

Living the life like 2000 years ago.

The meeting place was easy to find close to the Colosseum. Our guide Sandra, made sure we were all there and ready to go. The lineups to get into the Colosseum were very long but that is why one buys skip the lines. Initially, the radio signals were getting mixed up with our guides because of all the people, but once we started moving, we could hear our guide clearly. She had a lot of historical information to share, along with pictures to show what she meant in more detail. She gave us an adequate amount of time to take photos and said where it was best to stand to take photos. By her information, it was easy to imagine how the Romans lived. Once the tour of the Colosseum was finished, Sandra guided us to the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. She explained a few things about what we saw and then left us on our own for the remainder of our time. Once inside the Forum, you can stay until closing. There are a lot of information signs explaining everything you see, so a guide is not really necessary in this area. Overall, a great morning and I recommend this tour.

Our guide, Gianni, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable. However, it was super crowded. The “skip the line” line was longer than expected and it was hot. That being said we would definitely do again. Gladiator Tours was great!

Our tour guide was fantastic! I wish we recalled her name so we could brag on her here. She grew up in Rome and her deep love for her beautiful city was conveyed. So knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations of what we were getting to see. I wish she was able to accompany us to Palatine Hill/Forum area as well, but this tour ends once you are inside the gates of Palatine Hill.
