Great tour of Colosseum

Great guide. Would have preferred a little more time for taking photos. Would have loved to take longer tour under the stadium but it was sold out. Extra ticket for forum was nice; Would have really liked underground guided tour.

Challenging to find the tour guide.

The tour guide was knowledgeable, but a bit challenging to understand. The recommendation is that there be a better place to meet as the entrance to the metro was very busy and difficult to find the appropriate tour. Also, at the beginning of the tour, we recommend the Tour guide let people know how long the tour is whether there are any bathroom breaks and whether there is any water available on the tour. Also, for those of us who are older and more challenging, please let us know how much walking or steps there will be on the tour. These items at the beginning of the tour would be helpful.

Not very well organised My ticket had wrong name so was told to go last through security check and hopefully they won’t check it against ID Could not understand your guide very well and headphones were not clear sound

This was such a great experience! We had an awesome tour guide that was very funny and nice! The line went fast and it was not crowded for the 5:00 booking. We had booked with a different tour group the day before and it was very difficult and long so this group made it so easy! Definitely recommend booking this to anyone trying to see the Colosseum rather than joining one of the scams that are outside in the morning.

This tour was small and our guide was SOOO knowledgeable, funny and informative of every aspect of the colosseum and its history. All the different levels, the building of it, the different groups of history and their contributions he knew it all. It was nice to follow him right in and not wait on the really long lines. Tour was not too long was perfect length.

Overpriced for the value

Unfortunately, the crowds have become far too big at the Colosseum. While this is not the tour company’s fault, I would not recommend this tour. The group was too big and we just moved from one spot to the next while listening to the guide ramble on about so many things, which one can only assume was sprinkled with opinion and humor for the benefit of the tour. I suggest finding a tour with smaller groups and guides who stick to historical facts.

Waste of money

Honestly was so disappointed and felt like a huge waste of money! I paid for this experience for me and my partner and we had booked this to go on my birthday. The meet up point was extremely easy to find and we had no problem locating our tour guide. Our tour guide was a lovely woman but the tour is advertised as English speaking but the woman did not speak amazing english and it was extremely hard to understand. A lot of us were disappointed with this as we wanted to learn everything there was to know hence why we paid for a tour. The woman was very knowledgable which was a shame. The woman told us that she didn’t have the time to do the full tour and was in a rush so we didn’t manage to do everything we had paid for. I would recommend people to just pay for the pass for the colesseum and see it for yourself. There was a museum at the top with signs in English that you can read.

We disnreally enjoyed the visit. The meeting point was really easy to find but we had to wait for at least 1/2 hour for someone that was late. The guided tour was supposed to be in english but the lady's english was so poor and she was talking really fast and she was running everywere. The equipment wasn't working properly and at the end the lady left all of us to go around the Colosseo to finish the tour. So bad experience
