      Meet at the green kiosk on the right as you exit the Colosseo metro station. Look for a yellow label with TOURIKS written on it. Please arrive 10 minutes before the starting time. Note that there is also an upper floor exit of the metro station; please meet us downstairs.

    • Travellers younger than 18 years old must present a valid document or proof of ID
    • You will need to pass through strict and mandatory security checks to enter the Colosseum
    • Trolleys and large backpacks are not allowed inside, neither are glass/metal bottles or sprays (e.g. perfumes etc.)
    • Drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden at the monuments
    • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

      Waste of time and money

      This was advertised as a small tour. The group was 25 people big. The technology didn’t work- we couldn’t hear anything the guide was saying. You had to be in very close proximity (which is difficult with 25 people) to be able to understand. All of that for a very high price. Waste of time and money.

      This tour was very good, but unfortunately our guide was a bit hard to understand (due to language). She was extremely knowledgable, but went off on some tangents and never seemed to circle back to the original point. We also spent a lot of time in the ruins, which I was not expecting. Overall- I would definitely recommend because you're able to get to the "floor" of the Colosseum, which not all groups / tickets accommodate for. But it was quite a long tour (3 hours), so if you're looking for more a more abbreviated tour or just one of the Colosseum and Roman Forum this might not be the tour for you.

      Great guide, poor communication from company

      First I will say that our tour guide Franchesca was absolutely fantastic. She was so energetic and friendly and definitely loved her job and sharing the history of the area. Unfortunately the tour company itself missed the mark because they did not give specific details on where to meet for the tour so despite being 15 mins early initially, we ended up walking all the way around the Colosseum looking for the meeting point and had to call the tour company several times before getting through. If they would have said in the directions to meet at the metro station outside of the Colosseum, we would have found it with no problem at all. Instead, they just gave the address of the Colosseum itself which is a gigantic place and unrealistic when trying to meet up with a tour guide.

      A little steep in price but and enjoyable tour

      Our tour guide, Mario, was very funny and enjoyable to be with. It was nice being able to skip the lines and travel with a somewhat small group. The meeting spot was incredibly vague causing us to almost miss the tour and the tour is only of the colosseum not the forum/hill which is why I gave it 4 stars.

      Unprofessional and disorganized

      Our tour guide was knowledgeable but the rest of the experience was terrible. The meeting spot was disorganized and took a while to get moving. The tour seemed like it was cut short after the guide got a call from his boss to end it. The tour guide left us right after the Colosseum portion and we were forced to go all the way back to the meeting spot to get our tickets for entry into the Roman Forum. There was no guide for the Forum or Palatine Hill. Overall, we were super disappointed.

The tour lasted more than 1 hour and at the end of it the guide asked you to take your time in the Colosseum and explore it on your own, before getting back to the meeting point to get your tickets for the Roman Forum and Palatine hill, which are not guided (as stated in the online description of this tour)...we are sorry for the misunderstanding.       Well told stories of the Roman life

      It all ended well, but it couldn't have started worse. But it was not the operator's fault as it was a really crowded place and the Colosseum administration cancelled several bookings in the last minute. For us, unfortunately, the tour of the arena & underground area was cancelled. Other than that last minute hiccup & the delays (about 20 mins at the start), rest was great. Christian, our guide, is not one well informed, but also a great storyteller. He really painted a great picture of the ancient Rome & the culture. The ending at Colosseum where he makes his point about the role of the Colosseum in the Roman politics is a great lesson on how to tell stories with impact. I must also appreciate his passion & commitment as he had been on the call since morning & continuously catered to several groups before & after us without even a lunch break. It made me a bit sad, because as tourists, we don't often think about these situations when things are delayed. But in the end, we must remember that there's a human on the other side. Overall, despite the delays and part cancellations (for which we were refunded), we thoroughly enjoyed the tour & learnt a lot.

      Our group was very small, our tour guide Gabriel was amazing! We skipped the long lines, which saved so much time. Gabriel was fantastic. He shared incredible history, quirky, interesting facts, diagrams and more with us. The arena floor part of the tour was phenomenal, everyone in the group’s favorite. One tip: when we got to the meeting place, we didn’t see the signs, as instructed in the email, we became a bit stressed trying to find the meeting place, when we were 15 feet from it. We called the phone number of the tour and were able to meet up with our tour. Best tip- get there an additional 15 minutes earlier to find your way around and have the phone number ready.
