Meet in front of the entrance to Vyta Roma Termini Café inside Termini train station. If you come in the entrance at the intersection of Via Marsala and Via Marghera, Vyta Roma Termini Café is the very first cafe on the righthand side. Your guide will be holding a Walks sign.

What To Expect

Make your way to the centrally-located Roma Termini railway station, where you meet your guide and catch a high-speed train to Salerno.

Upon arrival, board a boat for a ride down the coast to Amalfi town, passing along one of the most spectacular sections of the coast. Keep your camera out to capture views of soaring sea cliffs, then return to shore at Amalfi. Continue to a lemon orchard that’s perched high on a cliff above Amalfi, where you sample limoncello, a sweet, tangy liqueur made with locally grown lemons.

Hop on the ferry again to your next destination—Positano, a fishing town-turned-resort that’s a favorite for celebrity beach vacations and romantic getaways. Get your bearings in the picture-perfect village on a guided tour, then enjoy free time in Positano: browse elegant boutiques, have leather sandals custom-made by a local craftsman, visit a seaside café for lunch, or slip into the water for a swim.

Meet back up with the group and board a boat for the cruise back to Salerno. Upon arrival in Salerno, board a high-speed train for the trip back to Rome, where this full-day tour concludes at the Roma Termini railway station.

In order to reach the lemon farm, guests must walk approx. 200 steps. You may opt for free time on your own on the Amalfi Coast instead.

In the case of heavy rain, the limoncello tasting will be in the town of Amalfi instead of the farm.
Please note: In the rare event of rough seas where it is impossible to travel by ferry, we will provide a private bus to take you up and down the coast so you won't miss a thing!

We enjoyed it greatly. Federico and fabio were very good and made it an enjoyable experience. I loved amalfi. Positano was also nice although the boat dock crowd was crazy. Federico kept us on track and got us through it though.

John Paul was a great guide. He gave history, recommendations, info about the Amalfi coast and lenon farm we visited and he took care of all details. He led guided tour time and also allowed flexible free time, was clear with meeting details and created a fabulous day for my daughter and I! Had a great time.

This was a great way to see Positano and Amalfi in a single day. We had just enough time at each and the Limoncello tasting was awesome. Our trip was changed to a van (instead of boats) due to the windy weather and I honestly think that it was a better experience. Our guide JP had great recommendations and was very thoughtful in his approach. Great time!

The only reason for the three stars was there was a lot of time on a bus and train. I realize they cancelled the boat because of weather conditions but perhaps an offer to cancel should have been made for those who wanted the boating experience. The majority of the tour was travelling.

Amalfi Coast and Positano amazing!

Hit the rails and boat hopped to Amalfi Coast and Positano, weather perfect and these towns are beautiful, plenty of walking and shopping. Positano lunch as close to the beach was amazing, food and view wow!

What a fantastic day!!! We had the pleasure of meeting Mauro, our wonderful tour guide. Right from the beginning it was great energy between him and our group. Mauro made sure we were comfortable and took care of everything. There is no way you can get this value doing it alone. No way. And hassle free. Tickets for the speed train and two ferries were included plus a visit to a Limoncello farm. The view was whimsical almost unreal. Sitting under the lemon vines transports you to another time. Mauro's knowledge and passion was entertainingly magnetic. The restaurants and local tips he recommended were spot on. We are so happy that we booked this tour and gratefuI to have met Mauro!

We enjoyed our time along the Amalfi Coast! We had a spectacular time exploring the area. Amalfi and Positano are relatively small, so we did not feel rushed with the amount of time we had. We had plenty of time to eat at both places and enjoy treats. Our tour guide Roberta was also very enthusiastic throughout our whole time. She provided tips that were helpful throughout! Personally, I wasn’t much of a fan of the Limonchello tasting, but we had some fantastic views of Amalfi. Highly recommend!

My husband and I fell in love with Amalfi and Positano! It rained on the day of our tour so we have to skip the lemon orchard tour but we had more time to explore Amalfi. Thank you to Mauro, our tour guide, for being so friendly and very informative. We were his last tour before he ended his season. We had a blast!

Our tour guide (Federico with Walks) was fantastic! He cared for the whole group (16) the entire day. The most stressful part of travel is getting from one place to another. This your resolved all of the stress. Fede handled all ticket arrangements: train from Rome to Salerno, ferry to Amalfi, ferry to Positano, ferry back to Salerno and then train back to Rome. That being said, you spend a lot of time on public transportation but the views from the ferry are breathtaking. Steps to lemon factory go quick but you’re not too rushed. 200 steps and some are steep. We had free time in Positano and Amalfi for shopping or snacks/dinner. Fede recommended Pergola for lunch which was a little touristy but it was wonderful and nice view. Note: the guide and tour company have no control over the weather, ferry service and delays from other travelers. We spent a lot of time in lines and waiting on transportation. If that is frustrating this may not be the tour for you, but absolutely was not a problem for us.

The high speed train from Rome was quick and easy! Our tour guide Chiara was amazing and well organized! We stopped in Almafi first, and its a cute town, but most shops all have the same things to sell. This town if really famous for the Limencello, we did not get to climb to the lemon farm due to a family emergency of the lemon family. Positano was our favorite stop and we wish we had a full day there, would recommend it!

Chiara, our guide, was perfect. Made sure to see that we got to each place as needed. This is a big pro- today I witnessed on the train when another tour guide did not ensure her guests got off. They were on the train until next stop. Anyways , this is a nice tour as they ensure you get to your destination and you have lots of free time to explore own your own. The high speed train is worth the extra cost. Remarkable beauty at Almafi and Positano. The boat ride to your destination is good choice too as it allows you to see the coastline and the stunning views. AMAZING! We would select Chiara again if opportunity allows
