We do not offer hotel pick up. Guests will meet us as one group at the hotel specified to depart as one group. We reserve the right to substitute vehicles of any size based on demand for the day. Guests do not pick their time slot for departure. We assign your time and activity times.

Highly recommended this tour. I found James’ tour by a Google search when I couldn’t get Alcatraz tickets for the only day I would be in San Francisco. I booked it and wasn’t sure what to expect. And let me tell you, James is awesome and this tour exceeded my expectations. Don’t think about it just book it.

I highly recommend to book this one day tour at least one week in advance especially in summer months. I waited for 24 hrs to get my confirmation, but it’s worth it. You’ll have a great experience especially when you’re on time. Driver James is fun and very informative about the Golden Gate, Alcatraz, Saulsalito, and Muir Woods. Print out your QR code and follow instructions on your itinerary, so you’ll have an enjoyable tour. We had so much fun and I’ll use Viator again for my next tour.

This is an expensive but nothing impressive trip except Alcatraz. However, you can go to Alcatraz by buying cruise for about 50 dollars. In this trip, the tour guide will not go there with you anyway.

The journey is what you make it! We provide Alcatraz Muir Woods and Sausalito. It appears you are unhappy with the town of Sausalito and are rating the city or the woods itself. It has no bearing on the actual tour itself. We operated this tour as stated and without and issues or flaws. You even tipped us and said what a great time you had. FYi guided tours by agents is not permitted on Alcatraz or at Muir Woods. You may be unhappy with that but rules are rules out of our control.

I am the person who purchased trip so three of my friends could join. ..they had fun but this is my personal review 1.. Dont attempt humour that I am a .female . I'm man .my name's not Jessica. It's Jesse . I paid 600 for this trip.. not for bad insulting jokes. In front of my friends I invited.. no I wasnt the guest. 2. I see the faults. I couldake them great.. I only have time to maintain my company.. my friends really liked the driver so ill end my review here..

We apologize for the confusion on your name. The driver asked "Who is the birthday trip for?" from a woman sitting next to another woman. She said "it was a gift for Jessie" to which the driver assumed was short for Jessica (the woman sitting next to her she looked at). He was unaware that it was for Jesse; a man. He did not know who was who on the trip as we verify using last names. The driver immediately excused himself once he was told who it was for. There was no intent to make a joke or to make fun of anyone. It was a awkward situation for anyone presented with the topic. We are so sorry you were offended but please excuse us as name of Jesse often can be ambiguous to male or female. We loved your group and had an amazing time with you! It is a shame your memory is of this one issue and not of the spectacular time we all had on this tour. The driver came back and mentioned how much fun he had with your guests in Sausalito!

Hola muy desepcionada por qué he pagado porque he pagado por un tour en español. Y fue todo en inglés. Sólo en español fue lo de alcatraz. Y también para le recogida con el bus te mandan una dirección y llegaron 30 minutos tarde 😒😒😒😒

Yes. This tour is only in English as stated well in advance. Alcatraz portion is in Spanish. This tour does not provide Spanish translators. Secondly; we were not 30 minutes late. You were actually 30 minutes early. You did not read your call time email which said arrive at the time we asked you. You just went at any time you pleased and thought this was acceptable! We then spent about 15 minutes parked in the white zone after your tour trying to help you access your Alcatraz vouchers even tho we asked you if you had them and you said "Si!". Adios!

Llegamos a Muir Woods 7:30 am....el guía nos deja para que exploremos el bosque Muir Woods solos.....no.pide que lleguemos 8:50 al estacionamiento para trasladarnos a nuestro siguiente parada, pero no nos acompaña.en el bosque y no pudimos calcular el regreso a tiempo y se va y nos deja en el bosque....regresa 2 horas después por nosotros, y nos lleva solo para recoger al resto del Tour al Golden Gate, pero ya no pudimos bajarnos aquí, ni tampoco en Sausalito, nos.lleva al Muelle 23 donde ya contábamos con los Tickets para Alcatraz (y también te dejan solo)....lo Positivo del Tour fue la explicación que nos daba en el trayecto de cada zona que recorrimos. Lo negativo dejarnos solos en cada parada.

Alcatraz was set aside for you. It operated as normal and you were able to do that portion. For Muir Woods; if a certain date has less than 4 people book we reach out to guests to ask them if they wish to do Muir Woods on another day, just do Alcatraz instead and refund the difference, or just cancel everything in full. We let our guests know this option days in advance and never leave them without Alcatraz. You asked us to just do the Alcatraz and refund the remainder of Muir Woods. Hardly a cancel on our parts!
