This tour was amazing. Our Bus Driver/Tour Guide was excellent, Danillo from Honduras. He was very informative throughout the whole tour. We enjoyed all the wineries except for the Mario Andretti Winery. Our favorite was Cline Winery. Our stop for lunch was perfect with different selections of places to eat. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great time with Grady!

Wow! What a great day! I had Grady as my driver and he was the BEST! Such a sweet man! It was just me on the tour and he showed me around so well and was so friendly. The wineries were good that we went to my personal fave was Sutter Home. I would recommend this tour!

Going to the wine farms, and tasting the different wines. Madonna the first vineyard we stopped at was the best by far when it came to the wines and the service, the other wine farm was very nice to look at but the wines were not very good

Such a beautiful region to explore, we had a great guide who really brought it to life for us and helped to make it a very enjoyable trip. We visited a great selection of wineries and thoroughly enjoyed it, some nice stops for photo opportunities and a good lunch stop in Sonoma. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Good host, bad logistics

James the driver was absolutely amazing. He made the most of the entire experience from start to end. Whoever planned the stops and in what order should seriously reevaluate how they came to the decision. We spent more than half the day in the bus, which really hurt the momentum after each stop. We passed the same winery 4 times. With some shuffling to the logistics, we could have easily had another 90 minutes to spend at the wineries.

Aircon of shuttle was not working and exit door kept on going open when driving on freeway, which i term unsafe and risky. Shuttle should have been replaced. This was mainly Sonoma valley and was under impression that is was going to be Napa Valley wine tour

Steven was a very pleasant guide & a safe driver. We enjoyed the full day we spent in Sonoma/Napa Valley. The wineries selected were nice & hosts in each location were warm & welcoming. We had ample time on our lunch break to enjoy a relaxed meal at a restaurant of our choosing.

Tour was an excellent experience. Steve our tour guide made it all worth while. He was an amazing guide. First Winery Madonna Estate was great, the attendants were amazing, wine selection were great, 2 out of the 6..yes 6 choices were my favs, i am a sweet wine kind a gal :) but my friend went ham on alll the choices, she had a blast, we had to help her back to the bus :) sooo, yes she had a lovely time. Sonoma Plaza was lovely, seems like a reasonable time spent, 2nd winery Sutter Home, although it was a well known brand it was still a great experience to actually visit and tried somw of their reserve wine, beautiful garden and show room. The third Winery Ru Vango, was a big disappointment. I was actually looking forward and with high expectations due to some of the reviews I saw, but it was just ok for us. 1 plus was that we were able to go in the Vinyard, the lady who was our attendant was not pleasant at all, and not acaccommodating, we wanted to buy a few wine glass and she was not helpful in making sure we could take them back with us, no above and beyond at all..but this experience has nothing to do with the tour company just that winery, I would not want to visit them again. But overall tour was great, Steve was great, ride up was great in a lovely Benz tour bus.

Too much time on a bus for little payoff

I have always loved tours through Viator but this one was a major miss! All 3 wineries were in Napa - none in Sonoma. One was Sutter Home (NOT the one mentioned in the description) - super cheap wine (didn't even drink it beyond the sip) and anyone from USA knew this was a budget stop they never would have made on their own....PLUS - we drove over :45 min each way from the first wine stop to get to Sutter Home - an hour and a half in the bus for just that was crazy. The bus driver who is supposed to provide knowledge along the way pointed out: a high school that OJ Simpson attended, a sea plane rental place, a rail road track for the wine train and the GG Bridge. Not informative at all! We did the redwood tour the day before with a fantastic bus driver with all kinds of knowledge so we knew that we were passing some interesting things that the driver didn't mention at all (sad). On top of it he blasted bad radio the whole time - full of non-stop blasting commercials - half the time with a poor static signal. Honestly we couldn't wait to get off the bus and end the tour. Madonna Winery and Ru Vonga were worth going to (would go back to Ru Vonga (formerly the Kieu Hoang) on our own if we ever go back to Napa - pretty place!) Why oh why did they feel the need to add an hour and a half in the bus for Sutter Home....must have some arrangement with the winery. Also I would skip the pre-paid lunch - for $40 PP it was not worth it (very limited choice form menu) I guess it comes down to who is the driver and find another winery that is good and near the others - this doesn't have to be a 9 hour tour - with half of it on a bus.

Excellent guide let down by weak itinerary

Driver/guide was very experienced. However, only 1 of the 3 wineries were really worth visiting and too much time was spent at the last one. Appreciated the time given for lunch though as it enabled us to catch the world cup semi-final at a pub in Sonoma!

The tour guide was excellent and some of the scenic views. Only visited two wineries. For the most part, it was enjoyable!

We did not visit a Sonoma winery in our trip unfortunately, which was the reason I booked this trip!

Some elements of the trip were great but I was disappointed that we did not visit a Sonoma winery, as stated in the booking, they were all in Napa. I specify booked this trip (despite it being more expensive than others) as I wanted to go to vineyards in both places. We went to Sonoma Plaza for lunch, but the lunch choices in the lunch package were very limited and not what I would consider really good value for money. On a positive note, the driver (Steve) was great, and the first and last wineries we visited were lovely. The second one (Sutter Home) was really like mass produced cheap wine with an over inflated price for tourists. It seemed very commercial there and the wines were definitely not the quality I was expecting. Madonna and Ru Vango were lovely though. The setting of Ru Vango was beautiful, and the host was informative, funny and friendly. I would definitely recommend visiting these two vineyards but I would not go back to Sutter Home, or recommend it to friends.

It was an amazing time. The tour was organized properly and it was timed accordingly. Our driver was great and gave us a bit of history lessons behind the cities. The drive was smooth. The wineries were phenomenal and filled with good tasting wine. We had time for each and every estate and I enjoyed the time learning about the different wines and family who owns each vineyard. I would definitely recommend this tour. It was great!
