We had a great time on our morning tour April 6th. The transfer was comfortable, the guides were excellent, and the winery is beautiful! And delicious wine. Great tour and half day in the wine lands

Review of Concha y Toro. OK but NOT great!!!

Tour was OK but one needs to select the Premium Tour if you want a good experience. We did not realize that we had to meet at a different location. This cost more money which means that you need to add this to your total cost. The Premium Tour would have been better BUT we were rushed to return to the bus. Not good!!!!!

Our bus driver, Mario was excellent in handling rush hour traffic. Sona provided background information on wines during the trip to the winery. The tour guide at the winery was very knowledgeable without going overboard. It was a great way to spend an afternoon tasting wines and learning which cheese to pair with what wines.

The place is iconic in the Chilean wine industry, the winery is so big and extremely beautiful, if you book this trip I highly recommend the "premium tasting: because the regular tasting is sincerely just 3 little sips, but if you do the premium and after you tour the facility, they take you to a private room with cheese pairings and real pours of wine. We loved it, but yeah, the ones that didn't do the premium tasting just had a sip.

Concha Y Toro Tour via Touristic and Viator

The actual tour at the winery was fine and we recommend the 7 tasting tour. We learned a lot and especially enjoyed the premium Concha y Toro tasting which was paired with cheese. Both their guides (the winery provides its own guides) were knowledgeable and helpful and spoke English very well. Having read many reviews that noted the lateness of the pick up, we decided to take the morning tour, which we would recommend. The tour operator, Turistik, created some stress for us. The website notes two pick up points, but when our vouchers and confirmation came, it only included one site which is very far (over an hour away) from our hotel. We phoned them several times as per instructions if we had questions, but they never picked up their phone or responded directly to the voicemails we left. We phoned Viator and they said we could be picked up as requested despite the wrong pick up point on our voucher. On the day we hoped for the best and went to Plaza des Armes and a member of their staff showed up and apologized for the bus being tied up in traffic. We did wonder if the traffic patterns that day were unusual but no matter. As soon as we saw her, we felt better. Although we enjoyed the tour, we cannot recommend the tour operator Turistic.

This is a beautiful place to drink wine. Our tour was very generous with the tastings, it was a nice experience. It is about an hour drive from Santiago, pickup and dropoff were very simple.

Exceeded my expectations

The tour far exceeded my expectations. I booked this tour because it was the only one available on the date I needed. I assumed a " mass producer" winery visit would not be anything special. I was wrong. The brand new luxury coach was very comfortable, the guide on the bus was great and shared lots of info about Santiago ! The onsite guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining and was passionate about his job. The premium wines were very tasty.

El Bus de Turistik llego 10 minutos tarde a la Viña, lo cual nos impidió ver el principio del tour que comprendia la visita por fuera a la casa de veraneo de los dueños y los parques que la rodean, que era uno de los aspectos mas interesantes, para mi porque ya había ido a catas de vino allá, que era lo que seguía. Al terminar, tuvimos muy poco tiempo para comprar. El bus de regreso no tenia aire acondicionado y hacian 30 grados.

Valeu muito a experiência, inclusive para mim, que não sou um amante de vinhos. A vinícola é muito bonita e os funcionários são bastante receptivos. A empresa Turistik entregou tudo aquilo que prometeu. O ônibus estava limpo e confortável. O motorista foi bem prudente e a guia foi bastante cordial e receptiva. É para aqueles que se perguntam qual tour vale mais a pena - tradicional ou Marques - na minha opinião vale a pena o tour Marques, principalmente para os que gostam de vinhos.
