Samantha (guide) and Ricardo (driver) were amazing! We were only in Santiago for a couple days so were very intentional about which experiences to include. I am so glad we did this one! The Andes are amazing and a must-see while in Santiago. The In Situ winery was adorable and delicious (and affordable!), the lagoon is spectacular, and the brief stop to see the llamas was fun. Definitely recommend this tour.

Amazing Experience
Luis_C, Apr 2024
This tour was awesome. The views were scenic, the springs hot, and the BBQ was delicious. Tour guides were informative and super nice. They seemed to love what they were doing!
10/10 would definitely recommend
Katherine_W, Apr 2024
Our guide Alvaro and driver Ricardo were amazing. Both were super informative and cheerful. The wine tasting was wonderful, and the food at the ski resort was top notch! Even though we had to fight a bit of construction, it never felt rushed ...and Alvero warned us about the construction right away. The gas station stop and Llama stop weren't anything special, but they were very nicely spaced during the tour so there weren't any really long driving legs (great if you needed to use the restroom or grab something to drink). The van was clean and comfortable. The only thing that was disappointing(not controllable by the tour) was the complete lack of outdoor benches or seats at the ski resort.
Highly Recommend

My husband and I enjoyed the day very much. Alvaro was a very nice guide and Ricardo was a great driver. The wine tour was very interesting as was the drive into the Andes. We enjoyed the other guests as well.
Mountains, Condors & a Beautiful Lake
Jack_A, Apr 2024
Went on the tour with Alvaro and our driver Ricardo. Tour was fantastic! Alvaro gave us some great insights into the history of Chile along the way. Highlight for me was going up Ruta 60 and seeing some of the highest peaks of the Andes, along with of course the Incas Lagoon. We even got to see Condors! Which Alvaro said is super rare so we really got lucky. Would 100% recommend anyone in Santiago do this tour
Great experience

It’s a pleasure when you take a tour with a guide that so knowledgeable. Driver did an awesome job as well.
Andes and Inca Lagoon tour
Wayne_M, Apr 2024
Hector and Ricky, our driver and guide did an awesome job showing us the sites and taking care of everyone. The winery was great. The highlight of the trip was definitely the trip up the Andes mountains to Inca Lagoon. Then we stopped to see llamas on the way back to town. It is a lengthy trip but very worth the time !!!
Amazing vineyard and wine tour and loved the lagoon
xanthe_h, Apr 2024
Alvaro was an amazing guide as Rodriguez a superb driver. A superb tour of ver the Andes and loved the Inca lagoon visit 😜 I swam in it 👍🏼 lunch was very nice and loved visiting the llamas. Definitely recommend this tour. The wine was delicious but it wasn’t a vineyard tour just a wine tasting.

Thank you for sharing your personal feedback. *** We do not offer a Wine Tour. This tour includes a wine tasting by our guide at the winery garden over looking the Andes Mountains and Vineyards. Wine Tasting not Wine tour. Thank you once again. Important to clarify the information. That will help future clients.
Very scenic tour
William_G, Apr 2024
Hector, our guide and Ricky our driver gave us a tour that was perfect. They were both very friendly and helpful.
Shelby_M, Apr 2024
This was a great experience. There's no getting around that it's a long drive, but, overall it was a good value
Great trip
Janet_W, Apr 2024
The Inca lagoon was incredibly beautiful. The winery was also beautiful. Workers were hand picking grapes during our visit, which was interesting to observe. The only negative was the road work that lengthened the journey which couldn't be helped. It was worth it to see the Andes and lagoon. Benjamin and Alejandro were terrific.
Skip this trip if you have limited time in Chile!
Patricia_S, Apr 2024
The guides were great but the van was too small and HORRIBLE. It is TOO SMALL for larger travelers such as my husband who is 6' 3" and 230 lbs. He could not fit into the seats without squishing me into the window seat and had to sit sideways most of the trip which is UNACCEPTABLE in my opinion. I would suggest you use larger vans for long trips. The Inca Lagoon was nice but not really worth the trip. The winery stop was nice, but there are better options. Frankly, if you have limited time SKIP THIS TRIP!!!!!!

Thank you Patricia for sharing your personal experience. And we are sorry you did not enjoy the day. And this will help future clients. Specially in the moment of making the reservation. There is in the booking SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS. This is very important to consider at the moment of booking a tour at any country . We do not know the person until the pick up hotel. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS lets us know if the person has any kind of condition. Such as tall , physical condition etc. That way we can reserve the best seat that would be the best option . All seats in the tourism vehicle are STANDARD SEATS . We thank your feedback to help future clients in the moment of making a booking. Regards
This was an amazing trip....
Natalie_R, Apr 2024
This was an amazing trip. The tour guide and driver made the trip go off without a hitch. We got to meet some people from all over the world. The winery, restaurant, lamas, and views were lovely.
A good day out
Diane_H, Apr 2024
The Andes were awesome as was the Inca Lagoon. Lunch overlooking the Lagoon was a real treat to. A special shout out to Alvero and our driver Ricardo, simply the best 👌 only negative were the long traffic delays due to roadworks.
Michael_B, Apr 2024
This day trip to the Inca Lagoon was FANTASTIC. If you are looking for a great day trip from Santiago, look no further. I went with my wife and a friend who was travelling with us and we all agreed that it is worth the price. The wine tasting is ok, good, not great, though this is likely because we were doing the tour on a holiday weekend and the actual winery was closed so it was just the tour guide letting us try 3 different wines along with cheeses and meats. The lake itself was the star. Surrounded by the stunning Andes Mountains it is as picturesque as you could imagine. BRING A SWIMSUIT, if you want to jump in! They don't tell you this ahead of time, but MANY in the group took the frigid plunge (its an alpine lake after all).
Great journey and awesome scenery
Kevin_O, Apr 2024
The views on the journey were great but the road trip was a bit too long. Stops en route were a welcome break.
Fantastic Trip
Saraha_L, Mar 2024
The entire trip was awesome! Wine, Lagoon and the cool drive! Highly recommended! It was fantastic! Thanks to Sam and Ricky
Not worth the price
Darcy_T, Mar 2024
This is was a hugely disappointing day. The wine tasting was nice, but done by the tour guide, not a professional of the winery. We wandered around the vineyard, but again, no specific direction or information was available. The Inca Lagoon is beautiful, but you don't need almost 2 hours here - it is a scheme to get you to spend time/money in the hotel. There is no where to walk to or anything else to see. And the visit to the llama's is a joke, it's a tiny farm attached to a local diner where we stopped for 15 minutes.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Good morning Darcy, we thank you for sharing your personal feedback. And we are sorry you did not enjoy the trip. * STOP AT WINERY* - At it is mentioned we offer a wine tasting at the beautiful garden of a local winery. Over looking at The andes mountains and vineyards. The Tasting is done by the guide that is with you during the day. This tour does NOT offer a wine tour. After the wine tasting, you get free time to be between the vineyards, wine store and bathroom facilities. Before taking the International Road to Portillo 9,000 feet. ***PORTILLO*** The time there is max 2 hours or less. This will depend on the amount of people and demand of the restaurante. We make a stop at a mini market at the begin of the tour. Place where you can purchase some snacks if the client decides NOT to have lunch at a restaurante. Meaning its is NOT OBLIGATION to enter to the restaurante. Specially when we do not include lunch at price. This option is clients own expense. We do NOT receive any extras as a tour operator or guides. Meaning we do not have the intention for you to spend your money at the hotel , as its mentioned in this personal review. ***NO WHERE TO WALK OR ANYTHING TO SEE*** For many of our clients, they appreciate the time spent at the lagoon. Many even enjoy getting in the water in summer season. And enjoy the peace that this place offers. At 9,000 feet with the best view of the andes. The time at Portillo is considered for people not to rush. Is to enjoy lunch and some free time as well. Before getting back to Santiago. This tour is to enjoy the ANDES , That is the main attraction. *** LLAMAS IS A JOKE*** - This is not a zoo or a big park. This stop is for bathroom facilities before taking the highway back to the hotels. Where there are few llamas. Where you can even interact with. That local owners offer for chilean and foreign tourist. That is not a joke, we are very grateful that at the foot of the Andes Mountains we can have this important stop. We hope the points mentioned in this personal feedback are clarify to help future clients willing to enjoy and appreciate the Andes Mountains. Thank you Regards
This was a great day....
