Definitely one of the most scenic landscapes in the world, made even better by the excellent guide that showed us all parts of the island with plenty of local information to answer all our questions. She took us to a vineyard at the end of the island with a local restaurant with views to die for. Enjoyed taking the donkeys (mules) to the top from the old port as lineups for the cable car up to 1.5 hours.

George was a fabulous guide. He personalized our day to accommodate some limited mobility while making sure my wife and I saw as much of Santorini as time allowedl while we were in port. Stefan and George were excellent guides. We arrived late due to backed up cable cars and they waited for us. They adjusted the schedule to make sure we still got a full tour. He gave us historic information while also being very personable. He was very flexible so we could get the experience we wanted.

Viator failed to communicate with...

Viator failed to communicate with local operator. We finally were able contact the local operator about the details. Both Viator and operator failed to tell us to take the cable up to the hill , which costs dearly 12 euros round trip and about an hour long wait each way. The local operators are pleasant and very knowledgeable. Beware , there are lots of walking around town, small alleys , and up and down hill. The churches look good on picture but in reality they look OK when we were there. Won't be back there because of all the hassle of waiting too long 2 hours for costly 12 euros cable car to take you up to see the town. Beware, there are lots of beggars on street.
