Best tour to see Santorini in one day.

Thomas was the best. We made a last minute booking and they accepted us as a private tour. He was very knowledgeable about Santorini and Greek history. He also let us customize our tour a little since we were the only couple. Thank you Thomas and Karavas Travel.

I highly recommend this tour, our guide Eleni was absolutely amazing. She took time to give us the history of sites as well as being patient with my physical disability as I wasn't able to walk as fast. Our driver also gave us so much history on the island and is a very fun guy with great sense of humor. Together they both made this tour an unforgettable part of our vacation and we are so grateful 🙏

We had a wonderful time seeing the highlights that Santorini has to offer. Our tour guide, Thomas was excellent! He is very knowledge and shared many of the islands history with us which we enjoyed very much. He is an amazing tour guide and the views were all spectacular.

Yannis was awesome! He answered all of our questions and knew the greek history very well. You could tell he was passionate about his job. The tour was fantastic! We saw all the picturesque spots and took great pictures. He gave us 90 mins of free time. We visited the Veranda restaurant because we wanted authentic greek food. Outstanding!! The best Greek salad I've ever had. My husband had the lamb stew. I had the braised beef and the baklava was so delicious. The service was top notch. Yannis invited us to take the 4 hour tour but we wanted shop and get back to the ship. Another note... The line back to the cable cars was extremely long. We walked at least 10 mins to get to the end of the line. We decided to walk down the donkey path because the line had to be at least a 2hr wait. You must be moderately fit to take on this adventure. We're in our early 60's. We made it but our legs felt like jello at the end. I recommend this trip. If you can pre-purchase your return tickets for the cable car, I would recommend it.

This tour was a really good way to see Santorini and our guide was awesome. We had some trouble changing the amount of guests on the tour and she was very flexible with helping in that capacity. I would definitely recommend this tour if you're spending a small amount of time in Santorini but just enough to see most of the city.

Seeing the town of Oia. It was absolutely gorgeous! Being away from the pier is a great experience. When visiting ports of call, it's important to see what the town/village/city is about.

Unforgettable tour of Santorini

The tour operator Dina is very friendly and accommodating. We arrived a little bit earlier than our scheduled tour and she arranged a driver who was also our tour guide, Evangelo to show us around the beautiful spots of Santorini. He was very informative and we learnt a lot of this pretty island from him. He also showed us the good spots for taking photos of the caldera and blue dome church. Instead of a small group tour, we end up with a private tour. We highly recommend to join this tour.

Stood waiting in the blazing sun for 2.5 hours to get onto the cable car to get us back to our cruise ship. Utter chaos.

We should be judged for the tour and not for things that are out of our control, We always find a way not to leave anyone behind and make the best for everyone on their visit to Santorini. Cable car wait takes away from magic of Santorini

Overall was good. I did not have cell service and wish the tickets in my apple wallet had the words meet at top of cable car. Cable car was a 45 min wait both up and down and it took the joy away from the tour

When a blackout of the entire island threw out our cruise tender times making us 3 hours late for our tour, Dina was very helpful in making sure we still received the best possible Santorini experience and had us back to our ship on time. Very helpful and knowledgeable of the island. Highly recommend

We were expecting a guided tour with a professional tour guide. Instead we were chauffeured to sites (mainly lookouts) and were offered one hour free time to tour Oia on our own. No info was provided by the guide about Santorini re: its history, culture, people etc. I felt that we had overpaid for the tour and could have hired a taxi to do the same at a better rate.

This was a wonderful tour. And I have to really recommend Santorini Karavas travel the contact there was just great. She was extraordinarily helpful. We missed our initial tour after having to wait for the cable car, and they waited for us and they put us together with another couple from Britain. Chris the driver was just delightful. He recommended a wonderful authentic Greek restaurant. The food was outstanding, and the moussaka was the best I’ve ever had. Again as before, all these tours, the drivers extraordinarily knowledgeable about the culture of the history of the country the politics, it’s very insightful, far more than taking a bus or a large group tour. Super kudos to the owner of the company she couldn’t have more wonderful. She was delightful even walked us back to the location where we got the cable car down. I was extraordinarily pleased.
