What To Expect

You will be picked up from anywhere in the greater Seattle area with your private group. Next, enjoy the drive to the enormous Boeing factory north of the city in Everett in your own private vehicle with your expert guide. Upon arrival for the Boeing Future of Flight factory tour, explore the interactive exhibits and displays in the huge Aviation Center Gallery and then take a 90-minute tour with a Boeing representative and other museum patrons to will uncover the inner workings of the assembly plant where Boeing airplanes are manufactured.

See planes like the 747, 767, 777 and 787 Dreamliner as they are being built and watch a short film that will further reveal how a plane is constructed from start to finish. Then stop at the Future of Flight Aviation Center, with interactive exhibits to design and test your own airplane.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be taken back to your pickup location in your private vehicle. This is a great opportunity to get all of your questions answered by your expert guide.

This is NOT a private tour of the Boeing Factory, but only private transportation with a knowledgeable guide. You will join the PUBLIC Boeing Tour with other museum-goers upon your arrival

Children must be at least 4 feet (122 cm) tall to go on the tour
Visitors may not carry babies on the Boeing Factory Tour.
Personal items are not allowed on the factory tour (i.e. purses,cellphones, backpacks, etc.) Lockers are available

Boeing Factory booked through Viator

This was THE BIGGEST waste of money and total ripoff I have ever spent whilst travelling. This tour cost $665.00 - over $900 Australian dollars, We were collected in a mini van - just the two of us - apparently a private tour - driven 40 minutes from Seattle to the Boeing factory. The entry to the Boeing factory was $25.00 at the desk. The tour was very lightweight but ok. We were driven 40 minutes back to our hotel. I presumed for the cost the factory must have been far from our hotel and the tour would be an in-depth private tour of the Boeing facility. We were with a group, did more walking through areas of the factory than getting a great overview of the building of the planes. We went on a Sunday - on weekends the factory is not working. I will be discouraging anyone I can from taking this tour. I was totally ripped off and am still angry. EJB

Ted Jennings, our guide, went out of his way to make us comfortable during the tour and to accommodate all our needs. He was very engaging to my two teenage sons, discussing things like music and aeronautics. Gave us ample time to tour the museum as well as the Restoration Center - giving us the inside-scoop of things. After the tour was done, gave us other great suggestions on exploring the rest of Seattle and surrounding areas. The Factory tour was absolutely awesome for those who love airplanes - to see the Boeing 747 and 787 Dreamliner as they're made was really a sight to see. Would definitely do it again.

Tour guides were very good and informative. If you are really into different types of aviation, helicopters, planes, etc. than this is just an overview of the whole Boeing operation. It could have been longer. It was a total of 4 hrs. not the 6 hours that I thought it was going to be which Viator reservations call center had confirmed to me. My family enjoyed the tour but would have rather spent more time in each museum The great part was not having to park or drive so it was really easy. If you only have one day to see everything and a short amount of time this is the way to do it.
