What To Expect

The Shibuya district was more vibrant than any I had previously been to in Tokyo. We made three stops for food and one for dessert. While our guide was excellent, with good English communication skills, I would consider the restaurants chosen to be average to below average. We did have a variety of Japanese foods and beverages.

was hoping for much more from this tour. i found the food stops to be uninspired with many of them totally empty except for other food tour groups from the same company. would recommend others to explore on their own and save their money while likely getting a better experience.

Saika was a great guide, she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She made sure that my husband and I had non-pork options for the traditional food tour since that is our restriction. We had a lot of fun walking through Shibuya and trying Japanese specific foods. You will be very full by the end of the tour. Would definitely recommend!

Sandra was absolutely amazing. Fantastic guide with great knowledge of smaller local restaurants! We had a small group tour with our 3 little kids. They had a blast and so did we too. She made sure that they had good restroom stops along the way. She was in touch with the eateries along the way so that we could maximize our time in multiple spots and had a great experience !

Vanessa, our food tour guide, was amazing. She not only took us to several delicious choices in parts of shibuya we never would’ve found, but was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Japan. Failed to make meet point on time but was unable to locate anyway to contact the tour guide. Reason I rated three stars is solely based on the fact that their could’ve been better communication on an exact meet point (ex. Family mart or lawsons) not a wall mural that my taxi was unable to locate. DO NOT, DO NOT be late as they are serious about not being able to meet them at another food stop- and you will lose your money.
