Great tour in such a lively area! My friend was sick so I went alone, and I was the only person so I got a private tour! Amber was fantastic! She was sweet and knowledgeable and shared history with me as well as food. And aahhh, the food!!! Be bold and try it all! Amber knows her food! Sushi, BBQ, octopus balls, Mochi. I was stuffed and loved every bite!

A fantastic, fun and informative evening

We had a superb evening being shown around the restaurants near Shibuya with Adam and Kai. Having Adam’s expertise at knowing where to go made for a really informative evening in restaurants we probably wouldn’t have found ourselves. It’s definitely worth considering this tour as soon as possible after arriving in Tokyo as there was so much to learn about Japanese dining culture - the types of food, how to ask for various dishes and what to expect. The restaurants served great food, covering a number of different styles - sushi, wagyu, street food (takoyaki, okonomiyaki) and katsutera. Contact with Adam before the tour made it easy to meet up in busy Shibuya, and we were given plenty of flexibility and choice of how the evening should go. Highly recommended!

Good food. Need better organization

Adam and Shoko did such an amazing job! The food was absolutely incredible, and they had everything timed out well, with bits and pieces of Japanese culture and things we might not know about, or see regularly. HIGHLY Recommend this tour. The best food we have had so far in Japan.

Good but not worth the premium price. Need to sharpen up on the delivery

It was a ok night company and guide was good BUT the overall cost for the food experience delivered was average . We are NOT. After quantity ( billed as eat as much as you want ) BUT. The service and delivery of the food options/ courses were very very slow. We were rushed to leave venues without completing course. Dessert was given as ‘takeaway’ as we had run out of time. Yes restaurants were busy , we felt like we were not priority even though a group( 9) booing.

Shoko was awesome! I loved having someone to hang out with for a night. Her English is perfect from living in the U.S. several times. She took me to a FANTASIC stand-up sushi restaurant, took me shopping, and we stopped by two other great spots while we bummed around in Shibuya. It was a great girls night out in Tokyo. I definitely recommend you request Shoko as a guide.

Akira was a 5 star guide. He always made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. We stopped at 3 fantastic local restaurants and had the best experience. He also toured us through some interesting neighborhoods and sights. His trainee tour guide Shoko was fun and energetic! We highly recommend this food tour. We left feeling stuffed and full of fun facts!
