Seamless transfer, friendly service, taxi from the airport to the canal side, then a lovely boat that dropped us off close to our hotel. The boat was gorgeous, views lovely, and the driver of the taxi and boat were both friendly, and helpful.

Being ripped off in Venice

Booked a car to the, water taxi which was to take us directly to hotel. My husband had shoulder surgery and it was difficult to manage luggage which is why we decided not to take public transportation. The water driver dropped us in town center with no help and no directions to hotel. Could have saved a fortune. Very disappointed.
Glamorous way to start our European vacation

Seeing our names on the greeter’s sign was the first indicator of a terrific start to our vacation. We went straight to the car and then straight to the water taxi. No hassles, headaches or long walks dragging too many bags. Then the ride was so glamorous! It’s a splurge for sure, but it was great for us.
Stranded at the Water Taxi Dock.

No one was as the water taxi dock to meet us. None of the kiosks knew of the service provider, Venice Black Car. We also spoke with boat taxi captains at each dock. No one recognized our phone digital ticket, or the paper print out ticket. After more than an hour wait, we hired a water taxi to take us to our hotel. We have used Viator on many prior occasions. This has been our first and only bad experience.

Gioni picked us up on time. He was friendly and helpful. He drove us to the water taxi safely. Then the water taxi ride to our Airbnb was smooth. The taxi was clean and so was the van at the airport.

Our flight was early but my friend lost her passport. We were cleared by 10:30 our pickup time but no driver in sight. We asked for help at Costco desk who called driver and said he was there since our flight was early but we were now out of our hour window. I said no, our window was from 10:30-11:30. I booked later purposely I case something happened. We sat for over another hour in hot airport to wait for another driver!

The driver was 1-hour late and we had to call many times. The customer service agent did not help. We were very upset! And we have a return trip scheduled and are very nervous!
