There were 14 people in the van, and it was way too crowed and hot. People were not comfortable. Ten would be the ideal number max 12 people. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable but did state a personal opinion on a political issue, which was unnecessary regardless on which side on the issue you are on.

I was on the bus that last night that had two flat tires. There was also a lady on our bus that was talking on her cell phone the whole time and it was on speaker. You really couldn’t hear the driver and he was not using the speaker. The driver should have asked her to put her phone away. Several passengers made comments about her This tour was definitely not worth my time or money. It was disappointing at best. I asked for a refund Honestly the trip was miserable!!!

DC at Night

Seeing the beautiful monuments at night all lit up and not dealing with downtown DC traffic or the high volume tourist traffic you would get during the day. The ability to stop and take pix for 10-20 minutes and hop back on and hearing the other historical facts on other items during the drive. Sometimes its the little things.

Disappointing tour

I had been on a bus evening tour once before and it was great. Thought I would get the same experience so took my grandson on an evening tour. It was nothing compared to the other one. Saw not even half the monuments that were on the bus tour, driver didn't get out to point things out. And certain drive by commentaries unnecessary- why would I want to know about what hotel Obama stayed at? Booking was for 7:30 to 11 and it ended at 9:30 with driver repeating that tips are appreciated. Disappointing tour for my 11 year old grandson to experience especially considering this was his first and could possibly be his last trip (we're from Canada)

We were hoping to see the monuments lit up. It was more of a lecture. We drove around the same block 2-3 times with boring info on hotel rates and parking rates. And our driver continuously said Smithstonian, yes he always added the extra T. Ridiculous. We did see some monuments. Just not a fun time. Almost 4 hours, too. Way too long.

We were in the back of the bus. There was no view towards the back, which meant that we had a really limited view on what we passed. The driver was nice, it was a nice route. Also, because of the small bus size, there was ample time at the stops. But still, the limited views was what determined our experience.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, however he provided maybe too much information especially about sites we weren't actually stopping at and couldn't see in the dark. I'm glad we went within walking distance to the White House. We missed getting off at the Jefferson Memorial since we ran late. The guide provided pamphlets for the major monuments which was nice and offered to drop me off at the Metro. I just think the tour needs editing.

Political and awkward

Booby was our tour guide. He was very free in sharing his political views and I found it extremely divisive. Our country is divided very close to 50/50. Why would anyone want to go on vacation to hear someone spout negativity or anything negative while they were trying to enjoy their vacation? Certainly not me. I spot checked some of his “facts” (easy enough to do - we all have phones). And he was also sharing some inaccurate data.

Hit the highlights. Tour guide adjusted route to successfully avoid some rain showers. Some were upset he didn’t mention that the Vietnam memorial was near the Lincoln memorial. So some did not get to see that.
