After free time at the top, return to Lucerne, first by panoramic aerial cableway via Kriens and then by local bus back to Lucerne. From November to May your itinerary changes slightly as the cogwheel railway and the scheduled lake boat are closed. During this time you reach Mt. Pilatus by cableway, and you take a one-hour scenic lake cruise in Lucerne instead.

Enjoyed the hour trip around the lake. Beautiful views, absolutely breathtaking. Clean yacht. I suggest going 10min before boarding time as it gets very very busy and crowded

Wonderful Lucerne!
Ray was an excellent guide. We easily found him at the train station and we spent an entire day exploring Mt Pilates, Lucerne and the lake. The tour was amazing as were the views and the commentary we received from Ray.

Mount Rigi Es ist gut!!
The ride up on the cogwheel railroad and then the hike down to the spa from the top of Mt. Rigi...just a word of caution...the hike downhill is difficult especially when you might have knee or hip problems...it takes about 60 minutes with no stops. Also, the cable car ride down to Weggis is great but make sure at the bottom near Lake Lucerne that you go to the correct boat dock which is to your right so you get the correct boat back to the city!!
