This hike is moderately challenging, so we do not recommend for any smaller children and anyone with physical limitations.. Nice intro to glacier hiking
Very nice glacier hike. Frederico was a great guide, informative and funny. Troll (the company) seems to be appropriately concerned with safety...helmets, harnesses and custom-fit crampons provided. Crampons all individually checked by guide for proper fastening. I would say this is a moderate intensity hike. A lot of uphill and downhill on ice, probably a total of 2.5 miles (not all of it on ice). Nice intro to glacier hiking.

Great intro to glaciering for novices.
Drizzling, foggy, mild to moderately strenuous, but a great experience. Safety stressed. Guide very instructive and helpful. We’re 75 and had no trouble.

Great tour and experience!
Seamless pick up, great guide (Hunter) and fantastic tour, with the highlight being the glacier hike. Gorgeous views all around, safety always prioritized. One of the best days days we had in Iceland, which is saying a lot!

Had a great time.
I had an 11 year old with me and we both really enjoyed the trip. The guides were great and made the long day seem short. I would recommend to others.
