Our guide, Juliette, was young, energetic, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Adults and children loved her. The full day trip flew by as it was so engaging and interesting. It would have been challenging to get it all accomplished without a knowledgeable guide and driver.

Visiting Utah Beach, where my father landed with the 4th division on D-Day was very special. I was happy my family and I walked where my dad started the liberation of France and Europe, 80 years ago. Morgan was an excellent guide, well informed on the history of the American landings at Utah and Omaha Beach.

Great D-Day Tour

We had a most excellent tour of the US D-Day Beaches and cemetery and surrounding areas of interest. Our guide, Marine, was most knowledgeable about the history of the area, the preparations for the invasion, and the battles themselves. She answered any question that was asked of her with expert knowledge. She was charming and funny, as well.

Sacred spaces within the Battle

Morgane met us at the station in Bayeux. It was immediately clear she wanted us to have the best experience based on our knowledge. With her knowledge she wove a story of the battle that was steeped in fact, and connected to the people who experienced the day. Our day moved from Omaha beach to St. Marie Église to Utah beach to Angoville-au-Plain in between Morgane helped develop a Narrative that put the necessity of battle in perspective with the people in it. She gently provided a bit of perspective about the Germans and allowed us to use more than one lens to see the battle. The story of the Medics at Angoville-au-Plain was moved all four of us.

Best Tour and Guide Ever

My wife and I toured with Carol Duval yesterday. She grew up in Normandy and her family has been here since the 13th century. She is an amazing WWII historian and tour guide, and we could not imagine that someone could be better than her. She has been giving tours for 30yrs, but importantly, continues to deeply immerse herself in the history she is teaching. She has given many tours, and befriended, WWII vets, visited many of them in the states, and had vets stay at here home near Omaha beach for months at a time. Her family has an intricate history of WWII, which she brings to life with incredible stories of suffering and survival. She will bring tears to your eyes with stories of heartbreak and hope. She is a tremendous person and guide . Anyone would be fortunate to tour with her. We will never forget her!

My husband is a US Air Force veteran and we were traveling with another couple, close friends of ours, one of which is a US Navy Veteran. The guys have wanted to do a Normandy trip for years and we were finally able to. Our guide was amazing. He was an expert on the topic and clearly had a passion for the subject.
