Our tour guide, Brice,...

Our tour guide, Brice, was great. He took us to places we were interested in, some were already part of the tour. We asked add Juno Beach. He recommended going to the American Cemetery later in the day for taps. He was very knowledgeable about the area and D-Day.

Our guide, Gaiton was excellent! Very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. With so many sites to see, he did an excellent job of keeping us on track without feeling rushed. Would absolutely recommend this tour and guide to anyone!!!

The American Cemetary and Memorials. We found out that the Americans support the upkeep of this memorial and keep a superintendent on the grounds that not only is a veteran but also a US Citizen.

Our guide Emmanuel was very helpful and was able to have an itinerary that accommodated us with one of us having limited mobility. We steered away from the museums for the tour since that was something we could do on our own. He gave us recommendations as to which museums to see first. Overall, he was very helpful.

A full day of visits to exactly where we wanted to go and some places we hadn’t considered. Excellent knowledge from our guide, I don’t think we had a single unanswered question and there were a lot, despite us already having some decent knowledge ourselves. Lovely experience, only area to improve would be to provide more information on your guide, their knowledge specialities and time to plan a bespoke tour ahead of the tour starting.

Very moving tour with knowledgeable guide

This tour was phenomenal! Our guide, Gwen, is the most knowledgeable guy on the planet when it comes to D Day. He had so many stories to tell and facts and information about every single stop. To see these places in real life, that we had only heard about from movies or history class, really brought home the reality of what happened that day. Visiting the American cemetery was very moving. We arrived late in the afternoon right as they were lowering the flag and playing taps. It was very moving . One note for other families: we did the 8 hour tour. My husband and son were very much interested in all things World War II, but even by the end, they were exhausted. (We were 5 jet-lagged days in on a 10 day trip.) When they say 8 hours, they mean a full 8 hours. Plus, we stopped off for lunch which took about an hour. So we left our hotel at 9:00am and returned at 6:00pm. We still enjoyed the entire experience, but if we were to do it again, we might book just the 4 hour tour. Then again, it was so moving, I'm not sure we'd change a thing.
