My wife and I had an amazing experience. We were lucky enough to sit in the front of the helicopter next to the pilot. The pilot kept us entertained and laughing the whole time, and made us feel like his personal family guests. Obviously the views of all the major sites are nothing less than spectacular. We highly recommend Air Kaua’i!

We had a hard time finding the location (viator sent us to the wrong address) but the team at Air Kauai was so helpful to get us back on the right path. Everyone was great to work with. Uncle Steve was a great guide. We loved every bit of it! Had us all grinning ear to ear, lots of laughs. The music he added to the fight was a nice touch too. We had a blast and would definitely come back!

Don’t book in advance if weather forecast is not great. They will tell you why it’s so great to go on rainy and cloudy days so they can get their revenue but it’s just not. It’s a rougher ride, you can’t get good pics in the rain through the windows, and for the price it’s just not worth not giving yourself the best experience. We begged them to let us postpone (not a refund) to two days later and they said no. One thing I found annoying relative to other sightseeing flights was that they don’t have microphones in the headsets so you’re stuck for an hour not talking to anyone in your group or getting to ask any questions to the pilot. You just sit there and let the pilot tell you things for an hour. So if he’s not entertaining it gets old. We filled up four barf bags on the trip so take dramamine on rough days.

The whole experience was great as soon as I walked in the door to the office. The woman behind the desk was super friendly. Waiting room was nice and comfortable. A younger gentleman who showed us a safety video and took us out to the helicopter was super cool as well. The tour itself was amazing… pilot was awesome and the scenery was breathtaking let alone being in an open door helicopter was crazy. Highly recommend!

The experience and views were amazing. Our pilot was entertaining and gave a great commentary about various aspects of the island including food recs as we flew around. Though the ride was very smooth, both me and my fiance are prone to motion sickness and both felt a bit nauseated over time so would recommend that folks take precautions if also prone to it.

This was, by far, the coolest thing we did while in Hawaii. Kelby was our pilot and was amazing. My wife was terrified to go and he made her feel comfortable and she absolutely loved the flight. Highly highly highly recommend adding this to your itinerary!

Highly recommend!! Our pilot was amazing. Already forgot his name. Think it started with an M. Max? Mike? We flew 7/10 at 10:30 Anyways he was great. The views are incredible. Everyone was great that works there. My mom is 78 and has trouble getting around. They were extremely patient with her and helped her in and out of the helicopter Also we are a plus sized family. We did have to pay for an extra seat which was fine. Was so worth it. Please don’t let your weight stop you from going!!
