We booked multiple successful tours with Viator during our week in Hawaii and this one was sketchy. Most are run by a business, this hike is just with two individuals. Not for young kids or older adults as their website suggests. Super dangerous cliff jumps!!! Cons: - They encouraged our group (6 kids and 4 adults) to jump off rocks that ended up not being safe at all. Our friend hit the bottom of the pool and dislocated two bones in his foot. This was just before they encouraged our kids to dive into the pool. Major red flags. - They suggested our group jump off a 50 ft cliff, only to learn that the only way up was via a rope straight up a sheer wall. "If you fall, I will catch you" was their only safety suggestions. We also learned that a kid hadn't jumped off it in over 30 years - yet they pressured our group of mostly kids to jump. Red flag. - Their listing says they bring bug spray - but when we were getting eaten up they realized their can of bug spray was empty. - They pushed one of our kids off a cliff when they were hesitant to jump. - They say it's family friendly, but our kids 7, 8 struggled with the steep aspects of the hike and we had to carry them down on our backs. - They offered us shots of alcohol from their trunk after the hike (probably bc they felt bad about the injury) - They switched the meeting point last minute bc cars were getting broken into at the Safeway. The entire hike was stressful and we all felt really lucky that we didn't get more hurt. I would not recommend this tour.

Best Waterfall Tour in Maui

Our tour guide, Lauren, was amazing. She was so personable, and we really got to know each other. She is so knowledgeable about the area and the wilderness and takes the time to show and explain everything to you as you hike. If you like small group tours, this is the one for you! What was even better was that she filmed everything on the GoPro and uploaded all of the videos and pictures to my phone!

Perfect Family Adventure

We did a few excursions while in Maui with our two boys who are 9 & 11. This was the only one they kept talking about afterwards. It was so incredibly fun and we saw places we probably would have never seen. We also learned a lot about Maui. Lauren was fun, we all had a great time. She brought local snacks that we devoured. It was a chilly day but even so we got in all the waterfalls and had a blast.

Our guide Mike was fantastic.. we had time and he took us to see the sea turtles, which was not on the tour. The waterfalls were beautiful. We saw 2, the third was closed due to flooding risk. Great way to see parts of north Maui

This was one of the best excursions we have had. Mike took us two old ladies down into the rainforest to secluded and private falls and pools. We swam and enjoyed the beauty of the forest. Mike even carried our bags for us so we could walk more easily over difficult terrain. He took fantastic photos and videos. Mike knew so much about the plants and the history. We really enjoyed this adventure.

Spence was an AWESOME guide! Knew the area very well and had a lot of history and personal experience to share. The hike was the perfect “level” challenge for us, and the scenery was stunning. Would definitely recommend!

Great Maui Hike

Hike with 11 year old daughter. Spence took us to 13 crossings and were were able to see both waterfalls on the Mauka side and another on the Makai side. It was a great experience for the hike itself, the water, the views, and the fresh Lillikoi. Recommend highly.

We had the most amazing time with Lauren who took us on a walking tour through the bamboo forest. We walked and learned about the forest along with the beautiful waterfalls, we swam in the beautiful fresh water and swam into caves. Lauren was very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! She was vey pleasant and enjoys what she does. Lauren had us sit down and have a picnic on the amazing boulders and she shared with us a native drink and snack that we had never tried before. Our tour was not rushed and on our way back she stopped and had us get out of the car and see the most amazing sea turtles on the beach. This was a tour that will not be forgotten! We highly recommend!

Such a beautiful time! The trail was not easy but certainly doable there were 6 of us from 6yrs old to 57, felt like we were walking thru a jungle and the waterfalls amazing! We all had a blast!
