Intimate boat cruise with great guide, Erik. Learned so many interesting facts about Amsterdam. Recommend it.

"Storm", our captain, took us all over the Amsterdam canals. He was very knowledgable of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. In April our boat was covered because it was still cold and there is always the chance of rain. we had an afternoon cruise so the weather was a little warmer. He had snacks and a variety of beverages and he gave us Bitterballen which I thought was good.
    Can’t get better than this.

Look no further. Captain Storm is the best! The boat was able to be opened or closed, so no worries about rain. The Captain was funny and personable. The two hours breezed by as we learned all about Amsterdam and the history of the canals. AND….Captain Storm ordered fresh bitterballen that he picks up during the ride! They were hot, fresh, and delicious!
Do not miss the boat! Captain Erick is a phenomenal guide!

What a great tour. Captain Erik has such a personal history with Amsterdam that it made it so much more special. It was also shocking to realize how close in recent history the Holocaust was. We all know it happened and it was a long time ago but with his personal connection to Anne Frank - just so sad and chilling. On the flip side, he gave excellent information about Amsterdam and pointed out so many things we’ve never seen or heard of. I’m a big Ted Lasso fan and asked where the houseboat was and he took a detour so we could go by and see it!! Lots of good snacks and drinks were available for everyone on board.
    Captain Mike was amazing!...

Captain Mike was amazing! Such a knowledgeable and also fun/witty tour guide. He truly loves what he does. The boat was perfect only being for 10 people and was beautiful. It rained at our time slot and he easily covered the boat but we could still easily see out,,,plus he had heaters to keep us warm and blankets. He also had a very wonderful selection of mimosa, wine, beer, non alcoholic drinks and wonderful snacks as well. Highly recommend it over the larger “cattle call”. Boats.
    Amsterdam Must Do!

    Wonderful Small Group Canal Tour
    Justin_M, Apr 2024
We really enjoyed this tour. Plenty of drinks, including wine, beer and genever. The guests shared a couple plates of food (cheese, stroopwafels, grapes and some other snacks). The special stop for bitterballen was a nice addition. The small boat with 12 people felt much more relaxing than one of the larger tours. Perfect way to kick off our stay in Amsterdam!

    Lovely evening cruise
    Lisbeth_A, Apr 2024
Nice small group, only 8 passengers on our particular cruise (7-9pm). Tasty nibbles - cheese, crackers, grapes, crisps, with a good selection of wine, gin and soft drinks which we could help ourselves too. Prompt pick up/drop off times, no delays. Only negative point was that despite having a pleasant and very informative guide onboard, he spoke very quickly which made it difficult at times to hear what he was saying. He also used a few swear words in his commentary which we felt was unnecessary on such a tour….especially when children (regardless of age) are on board. This didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the cruise, but I can’t give it a 5 star because of this.
    Great tour!

    Cruise on the canal

This was a fantastic cruise and a fun filled evening on board with captain Eric best way to begin a cruise like this is with wine and cheese, of which there was plenty of. Captain Eric was delightful and gave us a lot of information and local knowledge about what we were seeing. So his story were amusing. Some very serious, but still very memorable. The sunset we experienced was fantastic. I think it’s from the comments on board and throughout the evening would suggest that everyone had a fun time. highly recommend us anyone wishing to do a canal cruise. This was a small group tour with 13 passengers and one crew. We got to experience several local delicacy from the Netherlands.
    Loved this tour!

We had an incredible time on this tour! Captain Storm was a perfect host, hilarious, helpful and insightful! Lots of drinks and snacks to go around. We did the 7pm tour in Spring which, that time of year was a sunset tour, BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend a sunset tour if you can get it.
