Samir is a kind person who went and above and beyond as our guide in Aswan. Hamo, our driver for all of needs in Aswan, was also kind, helpful, and wonderful. Samir shared quite a bit of information with us regarding the historical landmarks in Egypt. He also spoiled us with snacks and treats during our tours with him. While he was not able to enter the temples with us, he provided us with a map to guide us in everything there is to see in the temples. Both gentlemen made us feel comfortable and safe during our visit in Aswan.

Great trip. We had the comfort of our own car. The guide Samir explained everything in detail during the drive and gave us a map of the temple for us to find our way around. He got us through the queues and made everything easy and enjoyable. It’s a little pricey for what you get but worth the extra money

Our driver was dressed nicely and the car was clean. His English was better, and he was waiting with the name sign at the arrival of the airport. Our trip started at 9:30 from the airport and we were at the temple at 12:40. All the tour groups were gone and very few people at the site. At some point we were alone in the small temple. We were back to Aswan a little before 6.

Considering that the tour is quite expensive, the car was a bit old. The place where they take you to eat is not exactly a 'restaurant' so we preferred a lunch box which we then ate at the hotel. But the strangest thing was that the guide asked us to pay for the tickets with our credit card and that he would then reimburse us in cash. Of course we did not accept this. And in the end, despite the high cost of the tour, I suppose they expected a higher tip.

We had the pleasure to have Ahmad from Emo Tours, who drove us from Aswan to Abu Simbel & back. He was very professional & went out of his way to make us comfortable throughout the long journey. He was also very informative and recommended to us various activities in Aswan. Along the way, he pointed out the interesting places we could visit. Ahmad surprised us by packing falafel lunch in Abu Simbel. He was friendly and we chatted on many topics during the long journey. Overall we had a wonderful trip with Ahmad at the wheel & would highly recommend him to other visitors.

We were picked up on time. We felt very comfortable to ride with our driver. The site was not crowded at all during our visit. That was a plus. At end of the trip, the driver bought each of us a cup of ice coconut. That was so thoughtful after a hot day tour.

+ The driver was waiting for us at the agreed time and location. He was driving safely. + We were able to depart at 8:00 am from Aswan and thanks to it avoid morning crowds in Abu Simbel. The heat there during the day was bearable in November. + Because it was a private trip, we were able to stay at Abu Simbel a bit longer than usual. - The driver was supposed to bring and give us bottled water but he didn´t bring any. Luckily we had our own. - The driver´s English was limited but it was not a big issue, with the help of Google Translate we were able to agree on the pick-up time and location for the return.

Very respectful and professional driver. We had 1.5 hours at the site (plenty of time). Pro tip - leave at 8am, by arrival time everyone is gone back home, no crowds.

Did a great day tour with Samir. He explained everything very well with a map in the air conditioned van. Abu Simbel is very hot and I would not have been able to pay attention in that heat. He was also very helpful when one of our kids got sick with heat exhaustion. Great tour.

Rude company

I would not use this company, there are many to chose from in Egypt, chose a kinder one. Every interaction I had was quite rude. I even tried booking other things with the company and the people in the office were also rude. The driver came late, when I texted the company they eventually replied when I was in the Car rudely about it. When I said we eventually did leave late they said the driver was waiting for me outside despite the instructions clearly saying he will greet me in lobby, it was a minor time difference but was more rude no one ever just said sorry. This is an expensive trip, go with someone polite. When I met the driver himself I put my hand out to shake it with a friendly greeting, he looked at me and wouldn't shake my hand. I speak conversational Arabic and tried even in Arabic to ask how his morning was, he was still rude. Later I tried to hand him my phone with translate and an Arabic keyboard and he just handed my phone back. The only kind person was the guide at the temple itself. Every other company I've used in Egypt has given me small juice and snack in the car, out of kindness. This was the longest and most expensive trip I had and they were the only one not to do that.

Good price. Everything went well. There is a coffee/pee break on your way there. We had 90 minutes to visit the temples. Don't hesitate to book. Pro tip: book the ride of 10 am to avoid the crowds.
