It was a blustery day, so the ride on the upper level wasn’t very pleasant (but that was my fault). However, the commentary wasn’t very good - a lot of music and sound effects (cheering when we passed a stadium, for example) but very little explanation about the sites themselves. Compared to other bus tours of this type, this one was mediocre.

Loved the view of the city from a hilltop. I took many photos and walked thru the garden. There were many stops to choose from and there were a few places where you could switch routes.

lots to see in Barcelona and a good way to see it all. It was hard for me to follow along on the map with the narration to know which stop we were at or coming up to next. But definitely a good value!
Hop-on Hop-off is the best way to see the city

It was very easy to find the stops and then hop on or off. It's also great to switch lines and see more of the city. On the green line in Barcelona, we just rode the bus all around. We also found we could hop on the bus and hop off at the next excursion, so we didn't need to take a taxi. The weather was great so we rode on top and had great views of the city and also some of the highlights of the city. All in all, a great wat to travel when you are not in a hurry.

Waited over an hour. Watched over 10 buses stop and leave because they were too full and overbooked. Forced to take taxis all day since we couldn't get on any hop on hop off buses.

Walked in circles unnecessarily

It was not clear at all how to get the boat passes or where to head. We asked several info people and got verbal directions that sent us walking in circles. As for the bus, we continued to ask for a bus route map. None were shared at kiosks or online. Everyone we asked from bus people to info booth would direct us to a different place. Lots of walking in circles which was too much for our elderly family members. We wasted our first of two days walking around confused. Once we finally got on - by flagging them down in the street and chasing them to a stop - we enjoyed our tour. Trying again the second day.

Waste of time - audio was terrible and line ups unbearable.

We could not understand the audio, so missed all of the details. The distance from Cruise ship terminal to nearest stop was far. The line up to get back on at Sagrade Familia was at least 100 people long. We only participate on the green route from stop 3-11 and decided the wait and lack of understandable audio was not worth wasting our time. Sadly we wasted Cdn$100 on this. I would not recommend.

Terrible experience

This was the worst experience ever. It took us 20 minutes to get on the bus because they only had 1 person scanning the tickets. We remained at 1 stop for over 5 minutes while they fixed the bus credit card machine and at another stop the driver got off the bus and was on his phone. We decided to get off the bus and take a taxi because we were informed it would take an hour and a half to get to our destination.

As there were 6 cruise ships in port there were people everywhere. The best views were from the bus so we didn’t get off and time was an issue

Buses need replacing
