What To Expect

Climb aboard your air-conditioned minivan at your Barcelona hotel or cruise port, and ascend the incline of Montjuic, a 755-foot (230-meter) hill that affords spectacular views of the city harbor. Stop to explore the Anella Olímpica, and enjoy the panoramic vistas from its hilltop perch as you venture to Montjuic Castle, a solid structure with ancient origins. 

Next, visit one of the city’s most spectacular structures; famed for its Gothic grandeur and architectural eccentricity, La Sagrada Familia is hailed as Antoni Gaudi’s modernist masterpiece. Capture fabulous photographs outside, and then admire the exterior of Casa Batlló. Stroll the sophisticated shopping strip of Passeig de Gracia, and marvel at landmarks such as Casa Morera before heading to Gaudi’s Park Güell. Sail past the long lines at the crowded entrance, and then follow your guide on an exploration of one of the world’s most impressive public spaces.

Meeting your guide and pick up from cruise terminal - easy and quick!!!! Hats off to Marta our tour guide for being so organized and professional! Montserrat - simply breathtaking but the ride up there is not for the faint of heart. Views are breathtaking! Lived that tour guide reorganized day to avoid crowds and heavy traffic to and from Montserrat and as a bonus we got amazing views of mountains in the dissipating clouds!!!! Marta provide us with tons of history and pertinent information then allowed us free time to explore on our own! Guëll park by Gaudi - simply wow!!!!! So beautiful!!!! Once again Marta expertly guided us through the park providing us with fascinating history and fun facts. Lots of time for photographs! Barcelona Cathedral - only one regret - not having bought the tickets to tour the inside of the cathedral! Marta provided us with wonderful insights and information. City tour and Olympic facilities - enjoyed getting to see these parts of the city as well. Marta provided us with hood recommendations for dinner and shopping. Drop off at hotel was easy and without issues. Hats off to Daniel our expert driver! Highly recommend this tour!

We had a great experience with Marta. Very knowledgeable and did her best to make it a good experience for everyone. Nice van took us as close as possible to the sights.. Viator sends way to many emails, I would have preferred only to get the ones that pertained to our trip while traveling.

Marta was an amazing tour guide. She obviously loves her job and was very knowledgeable, She was very accommodating and full of knowledge about the places we visited. We were amazed at the information she had about the Sagrada Familia. The pickup at the hotel was very smooth and I would book again with this agency they did a very good job and we were very comfortable and got to see a lot.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. She is well-traveled herself and has lived in so many places around the world. She helped us beat the crowds at Montserrat, and the result was a better experience. She also helped us find the best views with a short, moderately physical hike. The driver did a great job getting us there, too. Nicely air-conditioned vehicle.

What a fantastic day! Our tour guide Marta was exceptional. Our day was filled with a visit to Montserrat, Sagrada familia, Park Guell, the Olympic area, and Montjuic. Marta was one of the best guides we have ever had. She was informative, warm, genuine, and welcoming. We learned and saw so much of Barcelona and its surrounding area. We had a wonderful time on our day trip out to Montserrat and exploring Barcelona! Our transportation was on time, very clean, and even had USB ports for charging devices which I recommend you come prepared for! I felt like we definitely had enough time to explore as much as we wanted to and never felt rushed. It is a long day starting at 8 and ending close to 5 but we were able to see everything we wanted! Note - it gets very hot at some of the stops without much shade at times as well so come prepared with sunscreen and water. Thanks again for a great tour and I'd recommend it to anyone!
