Very disappointing because of confusing tour description

I purchased this tour for my husband and myself with the understanding that the trip included admission into the church to see the boys' choir perform at 1 pm, as a reading of the tour description included that feature, which was the chief reason I wished to visit Montserrat. We were informed by the tour guide that our tour did NOT include this option, although nearly everyone else's tickets in our group did. So very disappointing, and upon arrival at Montserrat I tried purchasing the 6 euro tickets to see the boys' choir but unfortunately it was sold out. During the tour of Montserrat, I spent most of my time there trying to resolve this discrepancy, even calling Viator twice from the mountain to confirm that I had indeed purchased the boys' choir option in my tour, in order for them to verify this with our tour guide. One Viator representative said that my ticket included it, and another said it did not. This was most distressing as I missed most of the tour guide's talk about Montserrat while trying to resolve this matter. Apparently i'm not the first visitor that this has happened to, and I was told that two options are offered -- one for visitors wishing to go inside the church, and one for those who did not. This was extremely unclear in the tour description. I urge Viator to fix this problem for future travelers. This was a very unpleasant experience and definitely not "Easy."

NOTICE! BE SURE YOU CAN ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION TO MEETING POINT BEFORE SPENDING YOUR MONEY! BARCELONA IS VERY CROWDED AND TAXIS NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE, AND TOUR OPERATOR WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU! Terrible! I never got to the meeting place! There were so many visitors in Barcelona that day (bih soccer game, concerts) , I could not get a taxi to take me to the bus station where the tour left from. There were no directions on using public transportation, and tour operator was not available to answer my calls, text, or email! What a waste of money! I sent messages with no reply. What a disappointment. This tour should have been cancelled when there was no way to get to meeting point!

Dear Debra, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you had a bad experience with the taxis in Barcelona. Our suggestion is always to take your time to reach the meeting point of an excursion ahead of time, specially if you're in a big city that you are not familiar with. Regarding the fact that we didn't answer to any message, the only messages received from you are 30 minutes after de departure of the tour, informing us that you had problems with the taxis and couldn't reserve any using three different APPs. The meeting point is indeed easy to reach with public transportation. It could have been an easy, hussle-free option for you. Also, our emergency number is on the confirmation email you received; it could be a good option also to contact us when you saw that you weren't making it on time. We believe that to punctuate a 1 star review because you coulnd't plan your trip on time is not a fair opinion on the experience, whether an angry reaction to a situation that was out of your control. We hope to see you soon in Barcelona!

Never got to experience the tour. The departure point had a large marathon happening near it the day of our tour so it took us longer to reach it due to traffic. We called the touring company and asked them to wait, and when we got to the departure point 5 minutes late the bus had already left.
