Great for nature lovers!

I would easily recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys short hikes and loves nature. Our tour guide, Alan, was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and safety conscious. In case you are thinking of brining a little one, our 4-year old managed to walk up and down the trail (but we did have a compact stroller for when she got tired). We went in late February and the beach weather at Sitges was great, though I wouldn’t dare go for a swim.

It was an amazing trip! James was really kind he made sure to explain all the details about the place. The views made the hike even better and more enjoyable🏃🏽‍♀️. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Barcelona you will never regret it.

So glad we chose this trip. Alan was an informative, friendly guide who communicated easily with our group of 8. He coordinated the Spanish and English instruction alternating with photo opportunities to make the best use of all our time. The views on the hike at Montserrat are so memorable. The hike can be steep in some sections but most of the group managed and the one that wasn't comfortable with the steeper parts easily sat out to be picked up later. Sitges was a very beautiful seaside view and the drive back to Barcelona was on a winding coastal road with a view as well. The seafood lunch we had was delicious and we ate quickly so we could wade in the water for a short time. Sitges is a quieter location than Barcelona and I would like to spend more time there. Alan was great with recommendations and we had a memorable day.

10/10 would recommend. Montserrat and Sitges are gorgeous, historically important sites worth visiting. An absolute must for anyone visiting Barca. Jaume/Jamie was very patient and chill. Worth noting that management needs to reassess the timing. The “full day” is 8am-5pm but trying to come back for 5 is too rushed due to the painfully slow service at any/all restaurants in Sitges. Our group had to rush to eat, had to literally run to be on time to meet and got our desserts for takeaway. The other girls on the tour ended up not having a full lunch at all due to running out of time. It would be much better if they’d just end for 6pm instead to allow the scheduled walking tours AND a proper lunch. Or even better, meet at 7am so that we arrive to Montserrat earlier before the hordes descend. By the time we arrived, the parking lot had over a dozen mega-buses and was already crawling with people.

Very professional, Farrun our driver was very knowledgeable of the area, the hike downhill as a senior citizen was a little difficult but Farrun made sure we had good stops in the shade as it was hot, really enjoyed Montserrat, Sitges ok but too hot without much shade.

Our best tour from Barcelona so far. Montserrat was majestic, Citges was beautiful. Our guide was great - sensitive to high heat (95+), prompt, friendly, informative and with the sense of humor. My biggest regret - I did not get his name. I am blaming this on the heat😎

Jaume* was a lovely guide. We enjoyed his succinct explanations at each of the sites and he was also good company during the hike down Montserrat. The entire day was enjoyable. Getting to Montserrat early before it was crowded was great. Our guide was very patient with a slower moving group. The afternoon by the sea was also great. I liked having free time for lunch before the tour of the old town.

Alan, our guide for the day (14.04.2023), was fluent in English, professional and made our tour very pleasant, exchanging a wealth of history and information about Montserrat and Sitges. The walk from the mountain back to the monastery might be a bit exhausting but Alan made sure that we took it at an easy pace. The mountain views and terrain around Montserrat are breathtaking and worth the visit. The town of Sitges is more relaxed and tranquil. Although being small, offers a wealthy culture, historical sight and lovely beaches. This tour should not be missed. Thank you Alan for a very pleasant and enjoyable day.

This trip was amazing and had it all. Montserrat was stunning, pictures really don't do it justice. The walk was easy and I highly recommend doing it to properly take in the panoramic views. Make sure to add on the Sitges option for lunch and a tour through the beautiful costal town. David the tour guide was fantastic, by far the best tour guide we have had on our holiday travels!!! Gracias David!

We had a great tour with Ferran and Alan! Montserrat was beautiful and doing the early morning tour is highly recommended. It is much less crowded and we were able to see everything without waiting too long. As we were leaving to go to Sitges, the waves of other tourists came and we were glad to have missed that. Ferran was great and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable and told us very interesting information about the area. We then went to Sitges with Alan. He was awesome! We were the only ones on this leg of the tour so it was a private tour for us. Alan was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Alan gave us a lot of extra tips on where to visit and places to eat in Barcelona. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth the visit.
